Wendy's

Every time I go to the Wendy's on Chapman Highway in Knoxville Tennessee they are out of chili, baked potatoes. Tonight same thing before 9 o'clock pm they were out of both. Why would they not make more? I was forsed to order something else and paid with my card. Upon receiving my food and inspecting it, it was cold and far beyond fresh. When I ask for fresh food I was told no. I then ask for my money back and told no. I would have to talk to the manager, tomorrow. I will never be back to another Wendy's!! Ever!!

They were slow, but that's not why I gave 3 stars because let's be honest everyone is slow due to staffing here lately. I gave three stars because the man running the drive was stand offish. He didnt have a good tone of voice when taking our order, asking for our payment, and he didn't even have a closing. No have a good day or thank you. Just handed the food and closed the window. I can be understanding about the staffing problem but at least be nice to your customers, especially when they are trying to be nice to you!

Horrible. Every single day I wait more than 10 minutes in this drive through and most times only to drive away. Today I got to wait 10 minutes for nobody to even answer the speaker. All while two employees stared out the back door at us sitting. Kind of insane to do that to people that deliver for your store and also spend money every day themselves :) never again.

Where do I begin? Custom orders on the mobile app are always wrong even though “no mustard, no onion” etc. is printed right on the receipt. Drive-thru waits are ridiculously long and they often lock the interior so you are forced to use the drive-thru. Last year I complained about an incorrect order and the manager told me to come in and mention her name for a free meal, but because the doors were always locked I would have had to wait in a huge drive-thru line & try to explain it over the intercom. No thanks. Last week was the final straw. Fries left out of my order, grey looking cold burger and cold nuggets after yet another long drive-thru wait. I didn’t bother complaining because now they just ignore you. I feel like I gave them every opportunity to improve and they just got worse. Save your money and go across the street to Burger Boys. You will have to wait longer (or maybe not) but the food there is always made to order, hot and tastes great. I’ve never had a bad meal from there, unlike this Wendy’s location.

Today I went through the drive thru and purchased a kids hamburger meal. Got home and found out the only thing in my bag was fries. HELLO what part of hamburger meal did you not get?? Called them which took 4 tries letting it ring off the hook before someone answered and their only comment was "sorry you can come back and get it". I was already home didn't know I needed to check the bag before pulling out from the window. Not sure why I put myself through the terrible service here over and over.

Night Crew is Lazy!!! I've been to this place for the past 3 night, starting May 25th at 11pm. The next couple of night I've went back hoping things would be different. So every night that I've been to this location well before closing I get told, "it will take 20 minutes before I can take your order". On May 26th I went and got gas which was 2 minutes up the road came back and was told I without have to wait 20 minutes so I placed my order. Within 5 minutes I placed my order, paid, and was driving off with my order, SMH!!!
