After having driven by countless times, I decide to get a sub here. Huge mistake not having stopped before. I had an Italian sub - did not change a thing. It was wonderfully prepared, tasty, warm and delicious. Had some freshly cooked fries - as good as Five Guys - all for a reasonable price given the high quality. Staff was friendly. The manager was attentive and gave us cookies for being our first time. Highly recommend this place for an unhurried sub meal.

We love Penn station, the fries are handcut and remind me of boardwalk fries. The sandwiches are all delicious which makes it a tough decision every time we visit. The staff is always attentive and helpful with drink refills and making sure everything is made correctly. This is one of the best sub shops in town!!

I work at the boost mobile in the same strip and have eaten there a couple times. Love the owner and the people working there. Also read a comment about not liking the cheese steak sandwich bc it comes with spicy mustard and marinara sauce... all im saying is dont knock it till you try it. I personally thought it would be gross but it wasnt 👌🏻 it was super good just ask for the marinara sauce to be put on the side bc I can understand how a lot of people wouldnt enjoy it. But again super freekin good

Nice atmosphere at the restaurant. They have an interesting selection of subs. On this visit I had the pizza sub with onion and mushrooms. Very good, well cooked and delivered fast. It seems a bit expensive compared to other sub places without enough extra goodness to be fully worth it. Store was very clean and the staff very friendly.

Phoned in our order to go at 1 pm and was told 15-20 minutes for 5 sandwiches and fries. We arrived a few minutes early — there were 3 people working, and they seemed very disorganized. As we waited, more and more customers arrived for dine-in and were served ahead of us. Our order was not completed until 1:50 pm, by which time eight other groups had been served. The manager apologized several times during our wait (after our complaints) but the staff still continued to complete other orders ahead of ours. By the time we received our food half of it was cold, and it was basically mediocre at best. Will not return.

Great Food, Declining Service While the food is still delicious, the staff seems incapable running the store. 2 of the members appeared to be on drugs, and kept asking questions that have already been answered. I understand confirmation, but these women were so doped up, one of them couldn't even control their shaking. This is shocking to me coming from a store that used to have awesome employees.

BEST SANDWICHES in Knoxville. Great, polite well-trained employees who take care of your every sandwich need. They pride themselves on remembering you as well as, your order. I have eaten REUBEN sandwiches in the finest NY deli's (Harold's) and Jake's and Benji's in Milwaukee and Penn Station ranks right up there with the best. The Italian sandwich is to die for, the homemade fries are second to none and the homemade lemonade will make you slap somebody's mother. Everything about PENN STATION East Coast Subs is top rate and they make a welcomed addition to the Knoxville food scene.
