Date Visited: Jan 16th, 2021 Occasion: Sister’s Birthday Brunch Dress Code: Casual Parking: There’s a small free parking lot on the side of the building. I imagine one will need to find street parking on busier days. Ambiance / Service: This was my first time at Pj’s. Upon arrival, the restaurant had a cozy feel. Before entering the seating area you’re treated to a delicious display of baked goodies. Our host received us almost immediately and sat us on the upper floor of the restaurant. Staff members had their masks on and customers were socially distanced. We had 8 people in our party but were told that by law, they can only sit 6 people at a table and so we opted to split into two groups of 4 in separate booths. We weren’t far from each other so it worked out fine. Our server was patient and friendly. Food: Reasonably priced and the portions were generous. I ordered the Tiramisu Pancakes with Fried Chicken. The Tiramisu is typically spread in between the stacks but I asked our server to put it on the side so that I can control the portions. The pancakes were perfection! So delicious, the addition of the Tiramisu just elevated things. While the chicken had great flavor, it was a little dry. My husband ordered the Mediterranean Omelet with the addition of smoked salmon w/ peppers and onions. The omelet came with some Mashed Browns (potatoes) and your choice of toast. This dish w/the additions tasted great! My sister’s boyfriend ordered the Middle Eastern Skillet which I just had to try. If you already love Middle Eastern food you enjoy this dish. I didn’t taste the Fish & Chip sliders but the fries were good. Final Thoughts: I’ve found my house of pancakes. The food and the service was great! We will surely visit again.

Portion size good. Food decent but pricy. Comfort level: below average. I usually chose this place last unless I can dine outdoors. The acoustic is very loud and difficult to hear my companion. Today the restaurant was empty and no music was played inside of the restaurant. It felt cold and abandoned. I should have eaten at home and saved myself 40 dollars for breakfast food for my daughter and myself. .

I ordered quite a large amount of breakfast online, went to the restaurant to pick up my order, which is supposed to be a curbside pickup. I went there 5 minutes later than the time it said it would be ready. But no one was coming out. So I called to let them know that I was there. Then the lady told me to come in to pick up. (Exact quote: "You can come in to pick up ~") Without thinking much, I turned off the engine and was about to go in, then realized I don't have my mask! I wasn't prepared to go in to the store to pick up, but expected a curbside pickup. So, I did not bring one. I opened the door, and tried to tell them I didn't have a mask. Two of the three ladies chatting around the counter extended their arms handed me two bags of food! Why aren't they keeping " curbside" as claimed everywhere at the store and on the website? Why? They weren't busy. I was the only car there! They were chatting, standing around the counter and telling me to come in??? I want to hear the explanation why I was treated this way.

I had the Jersey Shore ice cream with the cinnamon roll. I'm sure both are done in a way other people like but it wasn't to my palette. The cinnamon rolls were a little dry although the icing was great. And the ice cream was ok. The service was great though and it was very cute how they set up picnic tables and umbrellas outside. You have to enter on the side street (not on 27) due to the tables taking up the entrance on the 27 entrance.

Food great, social distancing horrible. A family was seated in the booth right behind my husband. No plastic shield. 1 foot away.

Food was good. Disappointed in the choice of pancake syrup with high fructose corn syrup. Maple syrup was available for half the cost of the meal.
