Morris East

A fantastic date-night option, Morris East is a restaurant that my wife and I frequented (before we moved outside of the downtown core). The service was typically outstanding and we always felt like we were coming to a place where they genuinely cared about our experience. Morris East also makes for a great family eating experience too though with their kids menu and the staff were always great with our son. He loved going there too. Lots of great pizzas to choose from. I often struggled to decide on which one I wanted. My wife feels very strongly about the mushroom pizza and never ordered anything but. The salted caramel tart is amazing and we always got it, even though we routinely choose the chocolate dessert option when we go out to other places. We miss the vibe at the Morris St. location, but are glad we have the Bedford location, closer to where we now live.

The unique flavours and options on the menu are awesome. The chili oil that comes as a pizza topper is sweet and spicey. Wood fire pizza is good, but it's not doughy at all which I prefer in my pizza. If you like crunchy it's a must try. A little on the pricey side and limited seating if busy, but there is a patio in the summer and it is a great place for a date.

Fantastic! Amazing! Great! Honestly, as someone who struggles with finding a pizza that doesn't make me physically ill for a week..this place is a miracle! The pizza was so fresh and unbelievable tasty! The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. Although very few beer choices, the ones they do have (tried 2/4) were Fantastic! I wish there were locations in Toronto so I could enjoy this often!
