Dans Cafe

My partner and I stopped by this cafe after visiting the cemetery nearby. The ladies working their were really lovely and accommodating :). The sandwiches we had were very tasty and exactly what we wanted and the decaf coffee was like rocket fuel but tasty aswell :P. It'd be great if you could have some skimmed milk for the coffee in the fridge, as we'd definitely like to visit again :).

Tasty food and a good cup of tea at a reasonable price. But the thing that sets this cafe apart is the consistently warm and genuinely friendly manner of the staff. Known and loved by locals for this. Update: my first visit back after lifting of Covid restrictions and I'm happy to report Dan's cafe is as great as ever. Five stars.

I popped in there the other day for breakfast only my second visit there in total. I had chips bacon and tin tomatoes and fried egg, for pudding I had apple pie and custard. I had no complaints regarding the food which was very nice, my only concern is where, one of my pet hates, which is fixed table and chairs the other concern was the tight space between the drinks Machine to gain access to the toilet. Inside the restaurant there is plenty of space looks like maybe due to Covid tables and chairs that would’ve been in the middle of the CAFE were totally removed and I only had table and chairs on both sides of the restaurant nothing in the middle creating lots of room.
