Wow. Just wow. The chef knows what he is doing! I had the duck with smashed potatoes, green beans and tri-color carrots. Hubby had the Bbq Ribs. We are foodies, so we are happy to have found the Cedar House restaurant! The chef also had just prepared Tiramisu for dessert and it was the best that we have ever had! Singer,songwriter Gorden James from the Okanagan Valley was performing for the restaurant. He was awesome too! We arrived just as they were opening, so i was able to take photos without disturbing anyone. A 2 minute walk down a trail and STEPS leads you to a MILLION dollar view of the beauty of GOLDEN, BC. There is a stage there that they use for weddings! Wow!

The views are spectacular as was the lobster fondue. Our entree's - lamb shank, pretty good, the pasta was good. Desserts at $10 tasted good but scimpy serving for that price. Would be 5 stars if the price matched the food. Service was great. Prefer Eleven22 in town.

They have everything you need in the chalet and it really makes me feel at home. The view is incredible and the hot tub is a bonus! I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family and I will definitely visit again to experience other chalets. Thanks for the kind courtesy and hospitality!

While we were staying at Cedar House Chalets and dropped in for dinner after skiing and were blown away! The food was delicious and the portions were filling. Our server and the chef were both very pleasant and helpful. The cozy environment was nice different from the other places we went to in Golden.

Lovely cabins. Peaceful setting. Comfy bed. Spacious rooms. Gorgeous views.
Couldn't get a reservation for a time we wanted to eat at the restaurant so ate in town which is only a few minutes drive away.
Lots of mosquitoes so be prepared!
