You can't beat the all you can eat toast. Food off the menu is absolutely some of the best Italian food in the ottawa area. Friendly French staff very well spoken English. Only two English menus so that maybe something to consider if in a large group of non French speakers. I would highly recommend to anyone in the area

Pizza is delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. And there are free toasts.

The service was fast and the food was really good. The raviolis with rosé sauce was really tasty and the gratinated garlic snails were too. The apple crumble was very sweet, but delicious. There wasn't much people since it's tuesday night, so the atmosphere was calm and the music wasn't too loud. Loved the place.

We were heading to Papelli bakery at St.Josephs blvd, after some activies with the kids, but the place was closed and I decided we go here instead. It was our first time there and the place seemed more like fine dining. We were hungry and ended up going anyway! The kids enjoyed the food. Portions were good (not like Dinty's big) for comparison but they had supply of bread which seemed unlimited. The boxes for the different bread types were empty probably cause of the timing. We were there at about 8pm and the place closed at 11 according to the directory. I didn't see them getting replaced. Service was good. Unfortunately no pics. I meant it when I said we were hungry 😂

Pizza was REALLY good - we had the mushroom and truffle pizza. The linguine Alfredo pasta was too cheesy, my husband could make a better one. The grilled chicken add-on to the pasta was cooked well. Not a lot of options for dessert. Atmosphere was fun - could be a good date spot or a good option for hanging out with friends and family. Service was subpar - server didn't come to us quick, offer us water or even ask us how the food was. Server was polite though and helped us customize our order so that was nice.

Recently renovated location brings some fresh atmosphere to this location. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and our food came quickly to order. Can’t beat the DIY toast bar. On weekends I’d definitely call ahead to make reservations as this location can get very busy. Good amount of parking overall. Been here years ago but glad I had the chance to see it all renovated.

A little on the nostalgic side, but I stiil love the bread bar. Nice choice of thick bread slices, from oat to plain white, and plenty of different flavours of butter toppings to grill it with. The pasta and pizzas might not be smaller restaurant level, but definitely good, and washed down with deserrt and coffee, can't complain.

A great italian stop for good food, nice ambiance and a variety to choose from. From regular pizza to fancy taste. You’ll get your taste buds’ attention. Prices are with range and goes with your mood depending on what you feel you need to eat. Food looks and tastes as it should. No surprise but just a nice feeling to see and taste things normally. Staff is well informed and it’s always a nice touch to see one of the owners at work. The place is clean, enough space to not feel cramped even when full. A large room for special occasion and a “souvenir boutique” for thoses who wants to go take a few extras for homecookings. Breakfast dining is separate with a self grilled bread bar. Nice touch. Parking spaces available. And the restaurant is well located for any easy drive to. A must for discovering italian, long time fan and just a quick passer through in town.

They have a true authentic Italian food. Best vegetarian options. And the customer service is amazing. Great people, great food. Whenever we have a trip to Gatineau, we make sure that we come here.
