Restaurant Alpina

This place has great breakfast and lunch menu. I ordered their western omelet. The omelet comes with potatoes, toast, and your choice of coffee or tea. I love their homemade fruit jam. Too bad they don't sell it in jars to bring home. It is a small restaurant, and it gets busy very quickly. Their parking gets packed fast. They will only take reservations for big groups. There is an outside patio that is used in the summertime. The front entrance is accessible from the gravel parking lot The service is alright. It does take a while to get a cup of coffee or tea served at your table after you order your meal. The same goes for the bill. The servers are bilingual, which is a bonus, and they are very friendly.

After a couple of hours hiking in Gatineau Park, we were hungry and in need of refreshment. We searched for something close and found Restaurant Alpina which is located just outside the Park. We sat on the outside patio. First, we had an alcoholic drink and then some amazing poutine! The fries, gravy and curds (traditional poutine) were all fresh and hot and gooey and melty... just look at the photo!! We shared a large serving and it filled us up fast. They offer both breakfast and lunch menu. Then close at 2:30. The service was friendly and we will definitely visit again

Finally visited this place after driving my it for my whole life and I’m pleased to say it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Went for breakfast. Beautiful view, very nice patio. Wonderful atmosphere, attentive service, mimosas of every kind. The food was delicious and the homemade raspberry jam to is to die for. It’s a must visit.

Best poutine in Quebec, as my partner said. I really enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich (with grilled veggies) too, and it was the perfect stop next to the park. The server was just adorable and nice! I really recommend that place, easy parking, fast and great food! Cheap mimosas too if that's your thing

Great and simple breakfast experience with family. Hits the spot just right. Excellent variety of options if you're not a fan of "typical breakfast". The staff was lovely and efficient. I would have loved to drink a latte, but they only served filter coffee, unfortunately. I will definitely be coming back as many do.
