First off I really enjoy the downtown Fort Worth atmosphere. This city is very nice, not overcrowded during the week. And has lots of great restaurants. Riscky’s was a very nice location which had spacious inside dining. And also had outside dining tables as well. Kinda wish we would have ate outside to enjoy all the city lights and tall buldings at night. Food here was very delicious, the appetizers were tasty Ex: fried pickles, fried corn, fried onion strings. And I personally tried the southwest salad which was also very delicious and something I had never tried on a salad before. Staff was super friendly and new how to take care of a table. Will definitely try this place again on my next visit to ft. Worth.

Absolutely love this restaurant! We are from Colorado, but travel most weekends. We are always looking for the best local restaurants. Hands down, Riscky's is our favorite in Ft. Worth. Today we visited Riscky's for the 3rd time in 2 years. The food is good ole down-home fare. The vibe is quintessential Texas 🇨🇱🐄🤠 Our server today was Hugo - his attentiveness & kindness made for the most enjoyable evening! .. I must add that the pecan pie 🥧 was surprisingly scrumptious! 😋 We will be back!

Went with my husband and we both got the all you can eat beef ribs. They were very good. They are so big we could only eat a few extra, but our server Halee brought everything out in a timely manner, kept our drinks full and was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I have been in several times and went in today for a quick meal. The food was amazing as always but it was our server who really was the best and made the experience the best one yet. Erika was our server and she made sure to make us feel so welcome and like we had known her for years! She was very polite and took care of all of our needs. She told us everything to do around and close to us. Really enjoyed it and will ask for her when we go back!

After going to see stand-up comedy we just started wandering around looking for somewhere to eat. It was getting late. We chose Riscky's and it was a great first experience.
There were very few people there. Caesar, a super friendly server, took care of us. Love the western vibe, especially the decorative tin ceiling tiles. Even the tables are neat looking because of how they've been worn from so many arms and plates being on it. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend had a brisket sandwich. The meat was amazing! Such a perfect smoked flavor. I liked that they gave us barbecue sauce on the side so that we could add how much we wanted (unique sauce). The macaroni and the fried okra were average but still tasty.
Lots of food options and several side options. Reasonable pricing. The Texas tea cocktail is the bomb! Definitely a place well be returning to.

The waitress who took care of me was the sweetest woman ever. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and so close to the heart of Fort Worth Downtown. I got a basket item, which was on the smaller portion of things and only good if you're not hungry. It tasted okay, I think I should have tried a sampler to get a better understanding of their bbq. However, the brisket was still tender and I enjoyed it.

Had a really good bbq dinner here. The portions are generous and the service was great. Tasty brisket on the combo plate and the stuffed jalapeños were very good. Fun atmosphere and friendly looking bar. I wouldnt mind grabbin a drink there at some point. Check them out for some solid bbq and apps.

The restaurant is in a great location. Close to many hotels and safe area. Many seatings inside, great staff. It’s mainly all about barbecue. I got the all you can ribs. They were really good! Not only were the beef ribs amazing, but the homemade croutons and banana pudding were delicious! The staff was genuine and professional. We highly recommend! We will eat here about 3 more times before we return to MS!

I've eaten hear many times over the years when visiting Ft. Worth. The staff is nice and the food is good old Texas BBQ. Today I had the all you can eat beef ribs with a side of potato salad. The sides are just ok, but the meats are all good.

Texas Fries are great, however the Brisket on Top was a misfire for sure. The bake potato is over cooked and dried out. Brisket is good, but nothing out of the normal Texas BBQ you find anywhere else. <br/><br/>The service, atmosphere, and cleanliness are high standards.

Two words; UNLIMITED RIBS. Affordable unlimited ribs at that. Granted they weren't the best ribs I've ever had, but hey, it's unlimited. They have large portions for the price and the alcohol was good as well. I would definitely recommend taking your hungry friend to Risckey's.

This was absolutely the worst dining experience I have had in the last year anywhere in the US. The food was burned! So bad it was not edible. What's more, the manager did not care at all. I will never return and I suggest you do not waste your money in this place.

Terrible customer service. I will never be back!!! After being kept waiting to order my food while the 2 people behind the counter were giggling and chit chatting I ordered my food. With no apology what so ever for the staff ignoring me while they joked and laughed behind the counter. After waiting a while for my to go order it finally comes out. After just spending $35 on my order I politely ask for an extra sauce and then I am told that I have to pay extra for it. So wait you are telling me that the $35 I just paid isn't enough to warrant an extra sauce? I find it funny that with all of the bottles of sauce that are sitting around for the dine-in customers I have to pay extra for one additional container of sauce? Sorry folks... No way I am coming back. The food is mediocre at best. Just going to wait for Soulmans to open and they can have my business!!

Good brisket, very pleasant waitress. I was a little hesitant coming here after reading the reviews, but I wanted BBQ and the hotel concierge recommended that I come here. The prices are decent, the homemade BBQ sauce is delicious and I definitely didn't leave hungry. I'd recommend eating here.

All you can eat beef ribs. What a joke, worst ribs I've ever had. Scary thing is waitress said beef have more meat than the pork. If that's the case pork ribs must be nothing but bone. Maybe the owner should revisit his establishment, he would be appalled.

Not the worst barbecue I've had, but definitely not the best. I had the beef ribs and pulled pork. The beef ribs were touuuuuugh. About lost a tooth trying to pull it off the bone. The sides were good but I don't usually go to a barbecue to eat the potato salad.

Me and my associate phoned in to the scientists that operate our food tubes and told them to meet us a Risky's this afternoon for lunch.<br/><br/>When we got there, I had to put on my mountaineering suit because it was literally snowing inside the restraunt due to the amount of AC being pumped in. It was 103F outside and -69F inside. Seriously. We had a snowball fight.<br/><br/>The server was a loveley eskimo man that took care of all our needs. I ended up ordering the sliced brisket samwich which actually was two slices of ass fat on a walmart bun. It had no sauce or flavor at all. My associate loved his. I thought it was sub par. It froze almost immediately and broke one of the blades in my fude tube processing chamber.

Best experience of my life!!! we vist this place every once in awhile but when we come we love to ask for Jerry he is a very attentive server and really helpful. We were greeted promptly and he walked us through the menu like he knew from.the back of.his head. we never even had to ask.for anything man and the bbq was of.the hook keep up.the good work MR Risckys!! we definately be back soon. and we will tell all of our family and friends to come aswell. those txfries are amazing!! and that cobbler we wouldnt had even tried if our server hadnt even offered it but he did and we loved it. God bless your bussines and workers!!!

Disappointed. My wife had the smoked chicken. It was dry and lacking smoke flavor--usually a sign the smoking process was rushed and too high temperture. My fish tacos were just ok. For the price, they should have been much fresher and more flavor.

Tourist trap. If you're not from these parts and in downtown, you might be thinking this is real Texas barbecue. Some days it is ok, most days it is not tolerable. Bland commissary beef, watery sauce, boring sides, and no character. <br/><br/>Any decent Texas barbecue joint is one, consistent, and b, has character. You're in luck. If you're an out of towner, the greatness of Texas barbecue is nearby. Angelo's, Railhead, Coopers are five minutes away. Go to one of them.

Not impressed! Got the sliced brisket sandwich and it is very very very dry. I should have gone with the brisket tacos the bartender offered. It's a sad day in BBQ history when tacos are said to be the best item on the menu. The sauce given to me it's very light in flavor and isn't helping me choke this meal down. Staff is anything to brag about either. I had my food for 10 min without a peep. I wouldn't waste anymore money at this place to even try another meal.

EXPENSIVE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!. Worst dining experience in YEARS!! It was a fiasco from the absolute beginning. It took forever after being seated for anyone to take our drink order ... and that was only because the manager noticed that i was staring at her and tapping my menu. I ordered a Texas Tea (similar to a Long Island Iced Tea but with tequila added). They brought me a Tennessee Tea (sweet tea and bourbon), and then insisted that they brought me the correct drink. Folks, I HATE bourbon, so I definitely know the difference! They finally took it back and eventually brought me a Texas Tea. It was completely unremarkable ... i should have stuck with a Shiner Bock like my girlfriend. :(<br/><br/>The waitress finally took our order. We ordered an appetizer, she got the pork ribs, and I got the ribeye. We're in CowTown!! Didn't think they could possibly mess up steak!! <br/><br/>ALL OF THE FOOD ARRIVED TOGETHER!! The appetizer, my side salad, and both entrees came out AT THE SAME TIME!! <br/><br/>My medium-rare ribeye was a well-done sirloin!! I sent it back and STILL got a sirloin when it came back but at least this one was almost medium rare (more like medium but at least it wasn't burnt!!)<br/><br/>I will have to say that the ONLY thing they did right was the draft Shiner Bock my girl ordered and her pork ribs. WOW!!! THOSE PORK RIBS WERE FANTASTIC!!! <br/><br/>But the entire meal ran about $75 without tip ... pretty expensive for a completely horrible experience!!!

My favorite Rib Joint.... Without a doubt, on many occasions, the absolute best beef ribs anywhere in DFW area. The only problem is.. they're not always consistent. Sometimes you'll get the biggest beefiest ribs you've ever seen and sometimes... not so much. Consistency is my only gripe about the place. You might get lucky and have the beef piled on, or you might wonder why you got a junior plate. At least the beef ribs are "all you can eat"!<br/><br/>You should try the fried corn poppers on the appetizer menu, but be careful, they come out smoking hot. However, they are unique and quite tasty. The sides at Riscky's are pretty much standard fare, beans, potato salad and cole slaw. The texas toast is a nice addition and you'll get plenty of onions and peeners. Pour on the sauce, it's good stuff and just the right texture, it won't slide off the meat.
