I had a drip cup of joe that went down smooth without sugar or cream. Exceptional. The breakfast sandwich was made to order and included authentic chorizo. This is a unique place and will be visited again.

One of our favorite local coffee shops. The new owner is extremely friendly and helpful. They always treat us like family. The coffee is aromatic and delicious and the food is extremely tasty.

Went in for a Turkish coffee and breakfast burrito. The burrito is filled to the brim with great tasting ingredients and damn tasty green chili. The tortilla is grilled slightly in the outside giving it a very pleasing texture, reminds me of the Döner kebab bread I would get at Turkish restaurants in Germany. Server Nadine was fantastic as well :)

Mattina is right next to my office so I'm here pretty frequently; probably once or twice a week. But the proximity isn't what keeps me coming back—it's the friendliness of the staff, the high quality of the coffee and food, and the relaxing environment it has to offer. I change up my order every now and then and I am always happy with the drinks, especially when Victoria is the one making them! I have yet to try one of their breakfast burritos but I keep hearing they're amazing from my coworkers, so I recommend that as well :) If you're looking for a charming place to grab coffee and/or a sandwich in downtown Denver near Coors field, this is the spot!

A hidden gem in Denver for great food and coffee. The gentlemen behind the counter was polite and experienced as he guided me through the menu. I went with the classic Italian which was fantastic. Awesome location and friendly staff make this place great.

The customer service is wonderful. The barista let me stay for several hours while I waited for a police officer to take my stolen vehicle report. They provided very nice company and delicious lattes.

Showed up at Mattina's Cafe for a meeting and left with a brownie that was every bit as good as my Mom's (she was a baker.) I don't say this lightly, they're perfect! If you like the corner pieces, request one. They're heavenly! A dash of cinnamon has been added to the ingredients and it really compliments this gem of a find. I can't wait to grab another one along with some Haagen Dazs vanilla and call it a night.
