Snooze, An A.m. Eatery

What has happened with this place!!!! The food is still fantastic, however service has deteriorated to an unacceptable level, starting with the host( no smile, no greeting a gust, self-centered , you could really tell that he hates his job, to ignorant servers, not willing to take care of the customers. We were waiting for the host 30 min to order a dessert to which we changed our mind, when we asked finally another host why long wait for his response "we have customers inside with unusual questions" Super unprofessional! Unfortunately good food is not enough, for us to return back.

We picked Snooze out of a list of queried breakfast places. It's a jazzy breakfast joint with an eclectic menu of entrees that feature economical and ecologically sustainable products. The service was great and friendly. The food was tasty. I had one of the signature dishes, Spuds Deluxe: shredded potatoes and cheese, with my choice of added mushrooms and jalapenos. My table partner had the strawberry shortcake pancakes, a full order of which was two cake like, plate sized pancakes. She had a half order, and didn't leave hungry. Coffee was okay, not very full bodied. They have an extensive selection of brunch style drinks and entrees. It's a noisy, busy atmosphere, but it's all positive and we had some great food.

Still the best breakfast in town. A wonderfully varied and healthy menu. Nice that they continue to add new items to the menu. It loses a star because they keep raising prices which is probably why the wait to get seated is not as bad as it used to be. In fact, we have been recently and there was no wait at all! If one has peanut and/or tree nut allergies, Snooze is one of the best restaurants where one can eat safely.

Funny cool atmosphere with a retro vibe. Very large menu. Good selection of brunch cocktail and coffee selections. I highly recommend using the online wait list. I recommend the iced Honey oatmeal latte. Ham eggs Benedict's had perfect eggs and delicious ham. Hashbrown potato pancake needs more searing to my liking. Sir Kensington ketchup was very very tomato based but with delicious. Teen Wolf server was good.

Great weekend breakfast/brunch place. I have been to other Snooze around the nation, and this location is consistent with the Snooze brand. We dined here on a Sunday late morning, restaurant was very busy but still Courtney provided a personable and attentive service in a warm diner style ambiance. My OMG French Toast selection was well prepared, loved the mascarpone!, great choice, accompanied by yummy crispy Maple & Black Pepper Glazed Bacon. My partner was very happy with his Blue Blueberry Danish Pancakes. I will definitely patronize this establishment again.
