Kendricks Dartmouth

Very warm welcome when we walked in. Staff very friendly. 1 member of our party was gluten and dairy intolerant and they were able and more than happy to adapt the choice she made. It's very rare to find such accomodating places with the ability to do so. The food was delicious and service great. We ended up going back a second night and was not disappointed. Would highly recommend this venue. Great food and service with a smile 😃

One of our regular places to eat. Love it food very good and service is excellent. Been going for year's and we believe that it has been taken over by 3 directors who want to change it. Nooooo we spoke to a waitress / manageress lastnight who has been at kendricks for 20 years plus listen to her please, keep to what works it's a popular place for locals and holiday makers who come back several times a year. You don't want a business that's going to fail because you are trying to give it a new look and a new menu. The restaurant in Stoke Fleming I believe is owned by the new directors and people coming into kendricks don't like it and it clearly isn't working. Please don't change kendricks rhe food, atmosphere and staff make this place work. From 2 locals who recommend family and friends always.

First visit to Kendricks. Really nice seating. Lovely atmosphere. Waitresses very friendly and welcoming. Food excellent and good choices. Enjoyed the cajun chicken and the chilli was really good. Desserts too were very tasty. Slight problem as my husband had couple of bits of plastic in his...one that was very pointed. Only reason for giving food 4 stars. The staff dealt with the problem very quickly and we were given a discount on our bill. Will be travelling down to Dartmouth very often in the future and would definitely visit again.

At Saturday evening the city was busy but they still found us two a table. The ground floor has air conditioning, so this was quite refreshing vs. Today's heat outside. We ate the blacked salmon and the bream special. Both were well prepared and nicely decorated on the plates. The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and attentive.
