Good chippy, friendly staff and food is good but prices a bit higher than other shops and food not the best in Crawley. Hence the 4 *

For years we have avoided this chippy after several sub-par takeaways. However they have really turned it around and now produce excellent fish & chips time and time again. No fish sits under heat lamps any more. You have to wait but the fish is always freshly cooked and beautiful. Just a couple of doors away is the best Chinese takeaway in the world! We are utterly spoilt by the fine food available on Pound Hill shopping parade. We’ll done Master Fryer. You are truly wonderful now.

Food is always delicious but I was particularly pleased with the service from the lady whose name I unfortunately didn’t note, but who fast tracked my order when I hadn’t realised that the voucher I had was only redeemable online. It was greatly appreciated

At first glance I nearly walked out. There were so many people waiting for food but I was served quickly with great customer service.
We only waited around 12mins for a large order and if you haven't got a major appetite I would recommend the kids cod and chips. The cost is small but the chips are plentiful. I also had deep fried halloumi and pineapple fritters which were amazing.

Been here multiple times. Every time the food has been hot, the service is quick and the employees have been really nice. The place is clean and tidy and I have yet to have a bad sausage in batter from them! The Chicken nuggets are also recommended. Portion sizes are decent and prices are on par with everywhere else, highly recommended.

A large part of my order wasn't delivered. Despite being charged for it. No explanation. No "sorry we couldn't fulfil that order".
I was just charged for items that never arrived.
It's a shame as it's normally very good. But not on this occasion.
Update: this has now been resolved nicely by the Master Fryer, who were very understanding.
As I said previously, we normally really like the food here. But of course no one is person and mistakes happen so we look forward to our next order from the Master Fryer 😊

Only the second time I have had Fish & Chips from this place but the first time they were delicious. Came back for a second try and clearly the standards are consistent. Beautiful fish, crispy thin batter and perfectly cooked chips. What's not to like? Served by a cheerful, friendly young lady. Will come back again without doubt!
