Reviews of Ruby Tuesday

Went for lunch because we were in Alexandria for the day. The server was very pleasant and service was good. The salad bar was good (the best part of the meal) but the entrees were not great. The steak I ordered is shown sizzling on a skillet in the menu but it came on a cold white plate. The restaurant itself seemed very dark and not very clean. They need to clean up the place a bit.

Our favorite local dining spot. The salad bar is fresh and always well stocked. The staff keeps the salad bar neat and tidy even when the restaurant is crowded. Service is always quick and the servers are always polite. If there is any cons about this restaurant, it would be that it can be a bit loud during the busy periods, but this is true for most restaurants. We give them 2 “thumbs up”!

First off our server was great, that was the only good part from this restaurant. We waited over an hour and a half for our food. Granted we had a party off 11 but the restaurant was just about empty. When the food did arrive we were missing parts of it, mainly everyone's baked potatoes. The children's food was inedible. The men's bathroom was in a bad state, the dining floor had large pieces of food on it. We did get a discount on our bills but it wasn't enough to make our experience any better. We were there for my daughter's birthday. I would not recommend this place whatsoever.

This use to be one of my favorite places for salad bar. Not sure if this place is under new management but it is just not the same. Salad bar was a mess. I was in sandals and was walking out of my shoes due to the floor being so sticky. One part of the floor had crushed beets and we pointed it out to several employees and nothing was done about it. We were not the only ones complaining about the salad bar and the floor.. still nothing was done. Lacking customer service. Very disappointing.

Our waiter smelled of cigarette smoke, he needed to find a pen before he could take our order. Our burgers were good French fries were not hot, mashed potatoes were warm and they where out of Mac and cheese. This restaurant always used to be busy but the last couple of years it hasn't been, it needs a remodeling job.

Food was good but not worth 1 hour wait. 5 tables full in restaurant so 3 hamburgers should not take an hour to fix. The person seating customers was sitting at front door on his cell phone for over an hour without putting it down. This is not what you should see when entering the restaurant. He did manage to say have a nice day upon leaving but still did not look up from phone.

Had a Christmas gathering with 12 ladies (including myself) all on separate checks last Wednesday evening. The server was gracious, accomodating and efficient. The food was delicious and ample. I am kind of over salad bars but theirs is one of the tastiest I have had in a long time and it was included with the meal which I repeat, was delicious (I had petite sirloin, mashed potatoes and grilled squash). The only downside was it was a little slow checking out but again 12 ladies on separate checks so that was on us not RT. It was a very positive experience and I look forward to going again.
