One of the nicer and more comfortable cafes in Braddon - in amongst the gritty streets and shops, Gather is a quiet retreat for great coffee, simple but creative food and good service.
The coffee really is some of the best in the area and while the barrister can be a bit abrupt, she does a great job. Food was quick and tasty and my bacon and egg wrap was excellent.
On warmer days there is plenty of outdoor seating - and enough inside for those bitter Canberra mornings.

Gather is one of my favourite cafes in Canberra. Lots of vegan options, dietary requirements easily identifiable on menu and the wait and kitchen staff are very accommodating and careful of ingredients.
Friendly staff, lots of indoor plants, outdoor and indoor tables and amazing coffee. It reminds me of a Melbourne cafe.

My hubby and I dined at Gather Cafe for breakfast this morning. I had the potato rosti and my hubby had eggs his way with some extra ham. The service was quick and our meals were delicious, as were the coffees. Recommend.

Gather Cafe does a decent brunch. I personally think that there are tastier brunch options in Braddon but this cafe is super pretty and serves large quantities of aesthetic food. Still a good time overall and worth a try.

pretty good place to go for a nice cafe food around Braddon away from the hustle and bustle of Lonsdale st
Food varies from absolutely delicious to just average. For instance the mushrooms Benedict I had today (see photo) we’re nice but we’re sitting on stale bread slices.
Other days this same dish was mouthwatering

I don’t recommend you go in a cold weather because the indoor area is too small, so there is a high chance that you be sitting outside. Very friendly staff. I went in specific for the omelette but I found out that they’re changing their menu every few months. I ordered scrambled eggs. It was good but regarding the cold weather it lost its taste !
