Shanghai Dumpling & Noodle

I just reviewed that Taos dumpling has some very awful tasting dumpling using not-so-fresh mince. However Shanghai noodle has the best dumpling in town!!!! We always order the pan fried pork dumpling and the Shanghai fried noodle. Very reasonably priced. Haven't tried other dishes. If you are a big fans of dumpling you can't miss it!

Took mummy here for lunch yesterday. Shes extremely fussy and not a huge fan of tofu. But the spicy hot pot and pork mince with the sticky rice was finger licking good good great! And so cheap $30 fed three people.definately will be heading here again. So close. Saves me travelling to chinatown. Little oily and salty but authentic yummo.

Ordered two dishes here, pork and prawn wonton in soup and Singapore fried noodles. The picture in the menu showed the soup was clear, but when it came out, it was dark. Basically just water, soya sauce and sprinkles of spring onion with wontons. The wontons were dry and had no flavour, maybe thats why its soaked in soya sauce soup. Singapore noodles turned out to be shanghai noodles instead. Insisted that we ordered Singapore noodles, but waiter said and I quote “no, I’m not wrong, you ordered shanghai noodles”. Clearly I didn’t know what i wanted when i looked at the menu. Showed me the picture again and i pointed to the Singapore noodles and she says “next time”. Sure, maybe another lifetime.
