The Albion

A lovely pub. Had a great meal a couple of days ago with my daughter we both had fish and chips which was lovely and great service from Danny . The bottle of wine the bartender Georgia recommended went down a treat. Staff were lovely and atmosphere great. There was a great band that we caught the beginning of too! Will definitely visit again soon.

From the moment we stepped in we were greeted by a really friendly member of the bar staff. We found a table (it seemed quite busy but not sure if it was because sports were on multiple TV's) decided on what to order and I went to the bar to order. Unfortunately my initial choice was sold out, I found something else (the lady behind the bar was very apologetic) and ordered. The food came out in good time, it was hot and flavoursome and quite filling (I normally have a desert but couldn't this time). All in all a good experience and if I'm that way again I'd definitely go back.

Had my late Uncles wake here with a buffet and the staff and food were amazing. The staff went beyond themselves to make sure that we had enough food and everyone didn’t miss out and nothing was too much trouble for them. This is how pubs used to be run and should be run. A big thank you goes out to all the team at The Albion for making a sad day a little easier.

Really impressed with the Albion, would actually say that I was surprised by how good it all was. Couldn't find anything to complain about. Food was delicious if I'm honest and was cooked perfectly. Drink choice was wide and varied as you'd expect in a Pub. Really nice and comfortable settings inside with contemporary decor. Staff and service was fantastic and the prices weren't bad at all. Strongly recommend people to give this place a go if they're in the area and haven't done so already.

My fiancé and I, went for some pub grub and a few drinks, what a great atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. Our waiter, Rob was excellent with a got to have banter-ful attitude. Jodie at the bar clearly knew what she was doing, fast and efficient. We are very humbled by this experience as we have recently moved nearby and this is now our "local." All I can say is I am glad to call this our local!! Thankyou very much!

Was in the area picking up some doors feeling a bit fuzzy after a night out in Poulton and was in need of some food. Popped in and and can safely say we'll be back again. I had the double butter milk chicken burger and the other half had the 14oz gammon. It was hugely refreshing to have fresh chicken breast instead of reconstituted meat. The were cooked perfectly too nice and juicy. Hubby to bes gammon was fantastic too clearly cooked fresh for it to be as easy to cut as it was tasted fab eggs on top had nice and runny yolks. Good honest pub grub very well done, thank you Jake and the team for making us feel welcome and looking after us with fab food
