Rochester is a lovely town full of amazing artwork. At the time of visiting, I was lucky enough to meet @JimmyDvate. He was busy finishing off the platypus on the third silo, a must see. A very talented, humble young man.

Flies all through the shop, hair in our food, and had to wait ages for this rubbish 🗑. Staff walk away and flies go over the food. Staff clothes look disgusting. They also use there bare hands to make food. Don't go to the shop unless you like hair in your food. Real Aussie fish shop with flies

The food was good! Great amount of chicken salt and all tasted yummy (even the gf items). The customer service was average, they weren’t rude but weren’t especially friendly. A long wait time though. The price was fantastic though!

I waited an hour and a quarter when l made a snap decision (on a Friday night at 6pm)to call in on the way past to my caravan park. I saw so many people come in after me and go before me but they were phone orders. Fortunately it was 100% worth the wait as my burger meal was the best ever.

Excellent service but better to phone ahead as extremely busy. Choice of fish is great, well cooked, easy to get to but parking is sometimes hard to find close by, especially on a Friday night.

Super disappointed tonight, I’ve had great food from there so many times but wow not sure how to feel after watching someone not follow hygiene practices and terrible communication. Fried food was cooked almost 20 minutes before our souvlakis and burger was ready then accidentally put onion on them which isn’t a big thing but had already waited half an hour so didn’t get them re made. Fried food was cold and soggy by the time we got to eat them which is caused by poor communication then to be lied to about how long they had been sitting for when I was sitting in store watching, the lady on the phone was apologetic once I explained I was watching but just not a good experience tonight at all unfortunately now I have to feed 3 hungry kids McDonalds after spending 30$ on the food I actually got. I’ve worked in many fish and chip shops plus was a sous chef never seen such bad timing and communication.

We ordered for a large group and everything was right and absolutely delicious, especially the crumbed fish!
Portions are very generous too.
