Brick House Tavern + Tap

The food is really really good, great even, but there is one thing holding it back, the service. The service was by no means bad, it just felt a bit lackluster for the price of the food. The beer battered fish was perfect, possibly the greatest fried fish I’ve eaten, the fries were fairly good, but when I asked for more tarter sauce I was simply forgotten, that’s okay though, I still had a great experience here. :)

We had a great time the other night! Our server, Adriana, was very hospitable and engaging. She really went the extra mile in helping us with our order. The food was delicious! We got the white and Bleu cheese chips for our appetizer. The wife had the pulled pork grilled cheese and I had the lobster mac n' cheese. Everything was hot and fresh! For our drinks we had a couple of Voodoo Ranger Captain Dynamite beers. We sat on the patio and discovered that they have the legendary pub game, Ringing the Bull. All in all everything was fantastic. We will definitely be coming back for more fun and games. Cheers!

UPDATE 4/19/21: After speaking with the manager, I went back to give this place another try and everything went really well. Our server was great and we were able to be seated right away on a Sunday afternoon. The food tasted great and we had no issues at all. This is a great neighborhood spot for lunch or dinner. Great food, terrible service. It's a shame but we won't be eating here again after the second bad experience in a row. There were 3 total tables seated including us and it took 40 minutes to get a bloody mary we ordered. 30 minutes after ordering it, we reminded our server about it and she seemed to have forgotten we ever ordered it even though we had already received the other drinks we ordered at the same time. It took another 10 minutes to finally receive it and there was no garnish and no straw. We had to specifically ask for small plates for the 3 appetizers our group ordered, ask for silverware, and ask for water. All of our drink glasses were empty for the entirety of our meal even though we asked for more water. We ordered one round of drinks when we first sat down and were never able to order additional drinks even though we had planned to. The server never offered and never gave us time to ask for them when she took our food orders. It did not feel like our server cared about us at all and there was no justification for the long wait times (we were there for over 2 hours) when there were literally only 2 other groups eating.

We had a great experience! Did have to wait a while. 45 minute wait to get in and then was there about an hour and a half but they were slammed so that's OK. Brick House Burger was huge and delish! Son had ribs and enjoyed them, daughter had pork chops and loved hers, husband had turkey club all were great!Those potato boats and the Salad were equally Yummy!! The potato boats were HUGE! Fries are fresh cut. Overall good food and friendly service. The pecan ale beer was great too, the Cold mug made it even better!

We had dinner ONCE here before, went here again tonight. All still very good. We had a few drinks, 2 appetizers, 3 meals, 1 dessert. For apps., we had the zucchini spirals & crispy brussel sprouts. Dinner, I had the half rack of ribs, green beans, coleslaw, and he had Philly Cheesesteak & FFs. Kiddo had 2 sliders, FFs, ice cream. All FULL. We'll go again soon. 6.15.19

Our 1st time trying this place. Here for our Anniversary. It was quiet, comfortable. Not really crowded. No wait. I had the 8 oz Sirloin with, broccoli and thyme seasoned potatoes. Potatoes had a good flavor (didnt need ketchup), Steak was good and flavorful (didnt need to add steak sauce) and steamed broccoli (was nice and soft but not too soft). He had the Slider sampler, (his favorite was the pulled pork), and tator tots. The Sliders were big enough (and filling) he didnt need the tots. Atmosphere and Food all good. Pricing on the higher end. Yes, we would go back.
