Where this place really excels over EVERY BBQ restaurant, is the breakfast taco set up… you walk in the door and they have a variety of tacos ready to pick up; Bacon, Sausage, Brisket, Egg, Potato, etc. Plus, sauces, too. Pick up your tacos, PAY & GO. You’re literally out in the door in less than one minute!!! Awesome! 👏🏻🥳 Talk about lightning fast and the tacos are delicious, too!!!😋 By the way, the staff is constantly replenishing the tacos. So, they’re always fresh and delicious! We have been going there for years and never have been disappointed! Fill up your gas tank while you’re there, too! 🛻 🚗 Need a car wash? They have that, too! 💦

Been going to Rudy's for years and it never disappoints. Have tried lots of other places and they're not bad, but Rudy's is always my go-to. Faves are extra moist brisket, babies, pork loin, smoked potato, and green chilli stew. Their breakfast tacos are yummy too. And can't forget about their spicy bbq sauce and the side condiments of soft bread, pickles, onions and peppers. Plus the space is huge and comfortable w/plenty of seating, and staff is awesome!

Despite being a chain, Rudy’s is almost always a safe bet for some brisket or “BBQ”. Generally there is a wait but the line goes quick and the employees are fast in getting you served and moved along. The food is great quality for being a multi-location business. The brisket and turkey is always good in my opinion. They have a lot of different options for main food, sides and deserts. Service is fast and price is acceptable. Would recommend if you’re looking for a BBQ place or just simply run into one on your travels. Solid place.

Great bbq. Rudy's is a very established and commercial BBQ brand in Austin. As such, I think it gets somewhat of a bad rap at times. BBQ snobs say you have to go to Franklins or Coopers to get really good BBQ, but I disagree. Rudy's has great BBQ and their staff is always friendly and happy to serve.

I don’t review many chains but I will make an exception to this great establishment! The workers were very kind and recommended the turkey. They were not wrong! Perfectly smoked and complimented with potato salad made for a great lunch. The hand washing machine is also a fun time haha. Overall great experience and I hope to always visit Rudy’s when I come to TX!

I love the friendly atmosphere. The moist brisket I ordered wasn't very moist at all but they did show it to me first and I approved. I don't much care for their potato salad, beans or bbq sauce but their pork ribs are great and their spicy sausage is really good! I get the 32oz cup and usually get a refill (fresh brewed tea) on my way out. My car also appreciates the car wash while I'm here. Its affordable and there is a very cordial attendant there as well. Update: my last review was five years old. Just got excellent service again. This time I tried their loaded "smoked" potato. I don't think it's smoked tbh but I had hot jalapeno sausage on mine and it also came with butter and cheese. The potato was big and very filling for only $10. But the first couple of bites were very dry and hard. So I guess it's because they're not fresh. Anyway I got some extra butter, put it on a flat plate with cut it up then went to town. I love this addition to the menu.
