Ruby Eatery

Ruby Eatery is a Turkish-themed café, located in a convenient and quiet area. The service and coffees are fantastic, but some of the menu items, especially those that do not suit the theme, are questionable. Nonetheless, Ruby Eatery will always be a safe haven that is not affected by the excessive busyness of Central Auckland, especially for Les Mills visitors who need a nice location to relax at.

This was a surprise discovery as it is tucked around the side of Les Mills, so I hadn't noticed it. It was a lovely surprise though as the ambience of the place was very nice. Great use of light and shade plus floral arrangements to beautify the place. Service was very good and the food was great. The only small grumble is that it took the mezze platter a long time to arrive. I had great company, so it was only a small inconvenience.

I can’t say enough about this place. We went there for ax extended family breakfast this morning and it was just awesome! The staff are beautiful people, the environment is interesting and fun and the food both tastes and looks divine! I have a few dietary requirements and I’ve got to say that the fantastic man who took my order was just so patient and really wanted to make sure that I got a lovely meal. I love the open kitchen that you can see all of the staff and yes my meal was absolutely yum! We will definitely be back! 👯‍♀️🙏

Loved this place and the food since I found it. Haven’t been in about a month now but I’m usually there a few days a week at the most. Their iced coffee is to die for, food proportions are E for enough and sometimes they’re too filling for me so I take the rest home. Their lamb doner burger and pancakes are to DIE FOR! Some dishes could be improved as I like to try something new each time I go. Wouldn’t recommend the sandwiches or fish and chips from the adult or kids menu as they’re not great at all in my opinion. Customer service is always good. I usually recognise the main employees who greet me each time. Would definitely double check the water and cups they give before the food arrives as the fibres from the tea towels can sometimes end up in them both. Some things are pricey if you go there frequently and know what you’re getting for your money, other things are greatly priced.
