Burger District Gourmet Burgers And Bar

Been doing myself a disservice by automatically choosing Five Guys in this neighborhood when I wanted a burger. Don’t make the same mistake; the burgers are really, really good here. Absolutely worth the couple of $ more than the more storied chain nearby. What’s even better are the curly wedge fries - they are excellent and pretty unique, I can’t recall anywhere doing something similar in Arlington. Looking forward to my next takeout/visit.

I don't know how this place is on a couple of lists for the best burger place in Arlington. My husband and I were so excited to try this place while we were staying in Arlington to tour DC. The reviews make this place seem amazing. We got there around 5:30 and it was dead, we were the only people in there. That should have been our first red flag but we were set on burgers so we sat down and ordered. We ordered the cheese curds, the bacon cheeseburger and the blackened blue burger, with fries and onion rings and a couple of milkshakes. We were impressed with the cheese curds and the milkshakes. The burgers were not flavorful and dry and I only ended up eating half of my burger. The onion rings and fries were underwhelming. Over the course of the meal we were the only people in there. If I visit Arlington again, we will not be returning.

Came in w/my lady for dinner as the place sparked good reviews; food was great but the ladies at the counter/front register - talk about not friendly and having a face of disgust! Place was empty when we got there but slowly picked up as time progressed, this places moves alot of take out orders. 3 out of 5 due to the unfriendly faces.
