Today I ordered over phone one stuffed masala kulcha + one small portion mango juice. Juice taste was horrible, first of all I couldn't identify that it's a mango juice. Some smell was coming from the juice may be they had used the spoiled mango. 2nd thing is stuffed kulcha was very thick and the naan was half cooked ( raw type) . Before Shagun's food was very nice but after today's experience will never ever order from here.

Tehe Mysore Masala dosa essentially a plain dosa with potato curry. I found a stone in the dish. Thankfully, the teeth didn't break. The curry also didn't smell fresh. The salad was dry. Overall, the food was stale

Been there to this place as its fully veg restaurant and tried couple of things there. Ambiance was really nice and staff was accommodating. So we tried tandoori bharwa aalo , Tandoori Baby Corn , Veg Kofta , Panner Makhani , Rajmah Masala, Naan ,Jeera Rice. Tandoori Bharwa Aalo : We liked this in other restaurant so thought to try it off but taste was not that much good. it was over cooked. 2/5* Tandoori Baby Corn : We really liked it. 4/5* Veg Kofta : Kofta was nice but gravy was no taste. 2/5* Panner Makhani : Not like actual north indian style pannner makhani. Sweet gravy less of taste. 1/5* Rajmah Masala : Really liked it but Rajmah was little bit hard. 3/5* Naan : Very Soft 4/5* Jeera Rice : Liked it. 4/5*

We wanted to enjoy Holi and this place was perfecto 🤗 We ordered the following; - Pani Puri - Dragon Panner - Chole Baturra - Thandai - Gujya The food isn’t heavy and perfect blend of taste and light Indian food. The Manager- Deepak was a good host too. I highly recommend the restaurant if you craving Indian food in JLT or media city.

Food is very delicious, All staffs are very nice, well coming and ensures that Noone is left unattended. Prices are reasonable considering JLT standards and food is always Fresh. Recommended for family dine-in too. Go for it and have a wonderful experience.

I ordered for the second time from this restaurant. As I just had rotis in the earlier order. The quality of rotis made me order the second time to try out their main course. I ordered for Missi roti, tandoori roti and choley. 1) Delivery is pretty quick, If you order online you 'd happy to see the delivery time. 2) They don't charge for the delivery 3) Price is reasonable 4) Food: Missi roti was flavorful , soft and fresh, Tandoori roti unlike other restaurants was soft, medium sized and made of wheat. Choley was medium spicy, well cooked, with a bit of coriander garnishing, everything was to the perfection. Taste here is not as one would expect from a restaurant, it is more like a homely food, with less masala, oil, tasty and healthy.

A hidden place among the many restaurants available in JLT. Food portions are sufficient for 3 people. Probably the time we went, the restaurant was near empty and service was slow. I'm thinking they primarily cater to office crowd as there were brochures for monthly orders Pure veg, the paani puri sauce was really fresh /good and spicy. Slow service was made up by piping hot food

Visited Shagun coz of Zomato reviews but my experience was very bad. I ordered for a starter which did not come even after waiting for 45mins after order, when informed manager to cancel the order and give the bill he was hesitant to give the bill and let us go. He kept arguing that starters will take normally 30-40 mins. In my presence I saw two more customers complaining about the food. This was the worst experience.

It’s located in cluster M JLT, visited there 3-4 times till now. Tried Pani Puri (Good way of serving, with small glasses), Paneer chilly, dal Makhani , dal tadka, Paneer Tikka Masala, Roti/Naan. Food was fine, they have to improve quality of sweets, like we tried Gulab Jamun and Laddoo, both were not tasty.

The Aloo Bukara and Dal were absolutely bitter. Perhaps too much fenugreek? The bhakti was great and for that they would get a 1 start. The order itself was delivered an hour later than committed. Regret that I won't be ordering from here again.

Another vegetarian restaurant in JLT or let's say another treat for vegetarians in JLT! Shagun serves amazing Indian street-food and if you are a pani-puri fan, head straight to this place!They have a live Pani-puri counter I have been a frequent visitor for this particular reason! You can even choose your stuffing from potato or "Ragda" (boiled peas). They also serve (Indo) Chinese, Mexican etc. and have decent varities of Indian Sweets. The staff is warm and welcoming too. Must Haves: PANI PURI (For sure!), Dabeli, Chinese Bhel, Gulab Jamun. P.S. Do not forget to ask for "Sukhi Puri" :P

Very good food..we experienced them for catering service of thali and live chat counter. They handled it very professionally and with lots of affection. The food is awesome... We had panipuris where the puris filled with ragda's were placed on small glasses filled with the spicy water (tequila shot glasses) .... Let me tell you that the Pani puri water made by their chef is the best i ever tasted in my lifetime... The drinks we had was Fresh Lime Soda, Mosambi Juice and Masala Chhass which was 10/10... The soup were perfect (not too watery and not too thick... And for the Main course we went with Mr. DILIP ( Ex Sukhsagar Famous Manager) recommendations of Shagun Veg Curry ( brought on a Sizzler plate and head both green curry and Red curry with Paneer) and the Kofta Dabang was also amazing... The Dal Tadka needed some working but overall the food was very yummy and a place to go everytime whenever the taste buds call for......

Except pani puri chat, I dont recommend any other items. We did an outdoor event with them and learnt lessons, never again. They came late and hurried us. We tasted the food and gave feedback in advance however they didnt make the changes. The quantity was less...they tried to add however it was late. There is a disconnect in the staff/supervisors though the staff is courteos. While talking they are loud..." i got it " " dont worry it will be done " they took notes...didnt pass on though. I dont recommend them.

Yeah nah the staff has a serious attitude problem when it comes to customizing dishes to customer demand. They won't add or remove anything from their food items, no matter how much you insist. They're never impolite of course, but they can argue the pants off a donkey. I guess they're trying to engage customers and create a bond in their own special way, but man are they driving on the wrong side of the road if that's what their goal is. Tends to get super annoying and ruins the whole experience. BUT the food in itself isn't bad if you're a pure veg lover though and I noticed that they have quite a few repeat customers so I guess that works for some people, but the seating feels kinda cramped if the place fills up by as much as one-third. Best of luck to these guys.

Went there for lunch yesterday. We had samosa and thali (Gujrati and North Indian). The food was really nice, We enjoyed it. Service was excellent. But the only thing which went wrong was that I ordered Buttermilk and I didn't get it. They missed the order.

A very good place for Indian Quick Bites and Chines (Indian-Chines to be precise) food. The only issue that we faced was that not all the items that are on the menu are being served. 3 out 5 dished we wanted to try were not being served, but as they say due to less demand and unnecessary wastage of food they try not to make everything.Bit overall a good place and definitely recommended!

So landed this place on Saturday evening with gang. One of the best combination of Indian and Chinese food located in cluster M in JLT. Food is really nice One of the best of this place is pizza dosa and mouth watering honey chilly potato. Sizzling vegetables is also recommended side. I've visited this restaurant three times now. Each time, I've found their chaats to be authentic in taste, freshly prepared and delicious. Plus they are very reasonable for the local area standards and customer service is excellent. From my visits, I've had samosa chaat, pani puri, bhel and sev puri them all being very tasty as good standard. Following this, yesterday I arranged for a get together to be catered by Shagun and was pleased with my decision. All guests loved the choice of buffet spread: live chaat counter, paav bhaji, noodles, pizzas and french fries for kids. Shagun have impressed everyone with their food and service. I would definitely recommend them for dine in and party catering. By far, they are most reasonable for hosting parties without any compromise in taste or quality.

We go to know about this new restaurant from a friend of ours. Street food is always inviting and we decided to make an order to them . There are very few good options for Street Good in JLT . We ordered Paani poori and Samosa Chole Chaat for Home Delivery. The order took nearly 45 mts for delivery . Paani Poori was just like we wanted and expected , typical north Indian style not very spicy but just enough to excite your taste buds. Unfortunately Somosa Chaat did not meet our expectations. We were expecting it to be spicier but the extra dose of chick peas spoiled the taste. Other sour point was that the delivery was made without tissue papers and spoons !! Our rating Delivery : 4/5 Portions : 3.5/5 Taste / Flavor : 3/5 Will be go back : Probably !!

The mid night chaat craving 😁 it's insane But the Shagun restaurant in JLT and its staff was available to heartily welcome the guest who just popped up at the time when they were almost closed , but none of them said no in serving, even though they were ready to serve a complete dinner meal. Moreover I ordered bhel puri which was tangy n amazing with chunks of kachcha aam 😍 which gives mouth watering taste and flavor to it. The tea was okay but at mid night it was available thats a big thing. I would suggest it for all vegans in JLT should try the place

Another indian veg restaurant in jlt.... The menu for me was exciting since it had gujju specialities like undhiyo Prices are very reasonable and the setup is comfortable. . Not huge when it come to space.... We called for gujju meal since it was sankranti that day they had undhiyo for the thali.... Thali included Puris , gujju sweet dal , undhiyo, aloo bhindi , rice , chikki, jalebi .... We asked for extra chapatis as well. ... Chapatis n poori are typically gujju small sized.... you will definately need more of them.... Undhiyo was made well and so was aloo bhindi... dal was as expected sweet ..... Jalebi would have tasted more better had it been served hot from the kadhai.... chikki reminded me of my childhood days.... So the meal was homestyle.... Also we got sweet lime soda . Servers were sweet enough to give us extra jalebi and methi mutter malai to taste

Shagun a newly opened vegetarian restaurant in JLT area of Dubai is close to JLT station. I tried their poori sabzi for breakfast that was served hot and fresh. The level of spice is perfect and portion size is reasonably good for one. The interior is done pretty much like a coffee shop concept and staff service is good. Their prices are reasonble for area and menu has some real good options for vegetarians. Theres limited free parking around the restaurant and its good place for a quick casual dining. I can recommend this place to try.

A newly opened joint in JLT that serves excellent ginger tea and quick indian snacks that are freshly made and taste great. We had the samosa that was made to perfection and paneer kathi roll which was our server's recommendation and was absolutely delicious. They have a chat counter too 😊. Very hospitable staff and the service is prompt. Special mention to the restaurant manager Deepak Singh who personally looked after us. This is surely going to be my new hangout place for catching up with friends who work in JLT.
