Sabor A Veracruz

The place is DIRTY… tables are not cleaned after costumers leave, bathroom is disgusting, floor needs to be swept 🧹! Maybe the manager can get off the cash register and supervise??! That would be a good starting point. The waitresses were friendly but the food was nothing special, not coming back since there are better and cleaner Mexican restaurants in the area.

I've ordered delivery twice. Got the large guacamole and chips and the portion was great! Also got the quesadilla with steak, which had a great steak to cheese ratio and really tasty cheese inside. Also the side salsas are great! I would say the orange is spicier than the green, but both have a great flavor.

To my surprise, I was expecting something else but was this particular dish, Huevos Divorciados, or, divorce eggs as they call it, this dish was a great surprise to me seeing in San Antonio and Houston they make it totally different. This eggs were made Veracruz style. Delicious indeed. I strongly recommend this place.

I placed an order via Grubhub and they placed rotten avocados on my order. I'm not sure what restaurant wouldn't care about the physical representation of their plate. Further, when I called to request a refund/change they refused and were only willing to deliver a new avocado. This is completely unacceptable and I will never order from them again. There are plenty of other restaurants who actually care and provide good customer service. RESPONSE: Since I cannot reply, no I did not "ask" for a new avocado. It was literally the only option I was being given. Yes, I did return it when the delivery man got here because not only did i pay for the food, not only did I get served rotten avocados on both orders, but now I have to settle and fix my own plate that I paid for? No, that is not how the restaurant business works. I'm sorry but no. The fact that that the plate left your establishment in this condition makes me question what else you're willing to let slide. Oh and btw, I was the one to contact Grubhub and requested a refund on the basis of such, not vise versa. You did not work "very hard" to fix it, you were mostly annoyed because I said something about it. The delivery man saw the plate and agreed that he wouldn't eat it if it was offered to him. I have a video of him agreeing. Thank you, be blessed!

Service is fast, horchata is delicious, friendly people, the rice is amazing, but in my opinion, I've tasted better Mexican Restaurants... Everything that's wrapped in a tortilla, I feel like it needs to have more choices. They look like what I see in a McDonald's, just throw the rice, the beef and everything inside the tortilla, and hand it to the customer. Put more love into every dish. I want to add guacamole, some pico de gallo included for free, onions in the salad without paying extra, mixed tacos, like they do in other restaurants. Good place to try out though, I liked the taste, but I compared it with other Mexican Restaurants in NJ when I Did this review.
