Been here a few times and always great! I do prefer the old menu better with the old way they made sliders and flatbread. Went back today and happy to see the original flatbread is back and best I’ve had anywhere 😊 had a group of 15 today and the staff were amazing as usual. I’ve never had a bad experience here, I think they have some of the best service staff in Auckland they are always smiling and happy to help! Not many outdoor venues in Auckland where also sheltered so very unique offering and will definitely be back again.

Service is great, my friend and I had a lovely talk with one of the waitresses. You can order off the QR code on the table, and your drinks come very quickly. The cocktails used to be a lot bigger, but they recently downsized them, so they lose a star on food for that. Beers are still just as big, decent prices for them and the drinks that are still big. The food menu is decent as well, I would recommend the pizzas. They are very yummy and decent in size. Overall a good bar, friendly staff and good service, food and drinks are good, and they are super accommodating for events as well.

I've been to Fantail & Turtle a number of times before, but after attending a private function (They do those!) this week I had to take the time to review. EMMA was amazing! She looked after us with a welcoming smile from the moment we arrived...to the moment her shift finished. She fit in so well with our team and made sure we had a great evening. PLUS nice and easy central location, great food (incl GF Pizzas), relaxed atmosphere and great drinks. I recommend the Bloody Shiraz Gin Sour.

Loved it here. Great service, amazing food, and decent prizes. Love that you can bring your dog. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They only make reservations for groups, so if you’re going out as a couple, it might be tough to get a table - we were lucky but sat further removed from the centre. It was quite cold there but the waitresses were so lovely and made sure we had plenty of blankets and the heater directed at our backs. Can absolutely recommend!

I was really surprised at the energy and level of atmosphere here. Heaps of people enjoying a Friday or Saturday night in the winter around the fires and patio heaters. Table service relies on the app and the staff running drinks are rushing and impersonable so I wouldn't give it amazing service ratings. Going up the the bar however was a decent experience and the bartenders were friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience and my preferred stop for a chill evening out on the shore.
