Such a lovely pub the food was amazing compared to across the road the service was top notch well worth it

Service was swift, opted for the mixed grill which was impressive because the meats were so succulent & juicy, good portions too. Definitely eat there again.

My sister and I are from Toronto and had a one day stay in Oxted on our way home from our travels. We had stopped at The Old Bell for dinner while staying here, and had such a good time.
The food was fantastic, and there were many vegetarian options available. I had the mediterranean vegetables and a mushroom and ale pie. Both items I ordered were delicious. I also had the sticky toffee pudding to finish my meal, which was to die for. Amazing food.
Gillian and Jacob served us, and they were absolutely wonderful. So welcoming and attentive. I have nothing but good things to say about both of them.
Thank you, Old Bell, for the hospitality and scrumptious food! I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone.

We had the Sunday roast. All cooked to perfection. Service was great. It was busy but our waitress was calm and efficient, checking in with us that all was well. I would recommend and hope to return.

The food here is fantastic. I had a vegan mushroom and ale pie which was absolutely delightful. My wife had cod and chips which she raved about.
Service was great and very friendly.
It was a bit quiet when we went in but it was a Tuesday.
Highly recommended, the only downside was that the gents toilet was a bit smelly.

Top pub for a good feed. The restaurant had a good selection that was reasonably priced. We were there on a Friday and they had live music playing in the bar. Very enjoyable.

For the first time we visited the Old Bell pub in old Oxted, it a lovely friendly place which dates back over 400 years. A charming atmosphere inside with plenty of wooden beams.
The food was outstanding, and the staff very friendly and attentive. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and we would like to thank the staff for looking after us.

Lovely location, has carpark.
Large seating areas and intimate booths, quirky olden style.
Pleasant staff, and nice beer garden.
Food was ok, a fairly long wait. The menu suggested better fare. Good for a group meal maybe go elsewhere if trying to impress

Lovely young lad and lady servers/waiters and good yummy hearty food. To have sensible kids menu pricing with steak option was a 1st. Well done Greene King, not had a bad experience yet . A trusty brand fit for our 👑

Very good service. Staff friendly and made you feel welcome. We stopped for a quick lunch, there was plenty to choose from and food was very good. Minor gripe was the fried fish was a bit overcooked but everything else was excellent and inexpensive. Would recommend and will definately return to taste other dishes. Many thanks to the Olde Bell. 👍🙂
