Jimmy The Greek

Like most, I have eaten at a lot of Greek restaurants but I have to say, the roasted lamb shank meal that I had here was outstanding. Perfectly braised and seasoned lamb shank that was luscious… accompanied by beautifully roasted Greek style potatoes, soft and flavourful with a hint of citrus. Heavily dilled tzatziki that was nice and thick with a nicely balanced Greek salad with a wonderful dressing and fresh tomatoes. At $15.25, it was a third of the price that I have paid at some high end Greek restaurants and twice as good…and this place is in a food court no less. Highly recommended.

Will never eat there again. Today had lunch there in Rideau Center, and there was a dead fly in my salad. I don't think I can eat at that food court anymore... Anyway, I took it to the counter and showed it to the workers there, asking if they washed the lettuce- they just acted like this is not a big deal, telling me why I am showing it to them and I need to just throw it away. That's it!!! The way they acted was like blaming me for pointing that out. Apparently they don't wash the vegetables (in this case, the lettuce). I should have taken a photo, but was not thinking about writing a review at that time. 😕

I asked for a chicken souvlaki with an extra lemon, politely, but my respond was if you want extra lemon you should go and buy it from outside!!!! I noticed they been rude with other customers too when they were asking for an extra napkins. Would not recommend this restaurant to others! Too many other better options in that mall !!!

My first dining in experience amidst the current pandemic. I used to eat here a lot during the university days. The place has been relocated, but the quality of food is still great. Food quality: Excellent Cleanliness: Excellent Employees: Well, I wasn't greeted, but that's okay. They served food pretty quick, and in great portion. Wait time: None at 6pm on Monday. Pricing: Average I'm satisfied even after all these years. Thanks.

I got a chicken platter and I wasn't looking at the person make my food but after I paid for my food n took it home, I realized that they forgot the chicken ( not sure how ) I called them and they told me come back and get another plate. It was late so I decided to go the following day because I was in rideau already and when I told the woman at the cash, she remembered me from the previous day and as she was making the plate,this Indian guy that usually cooks the food started yelling at her and then me and said " idc who you spoke with yesterday but am not giving you another plate", Hadid offer to replace my chicken break but wanted me to pay for another plate if I wanted rice, potatoes and salad. I just said nevermind and thank you.
