They are located within the foodcourt of South gate which was great when I was craving for bubble tea. Got my usual honey milk tea with pearls and it was really nice even if I asked for no ice and half sugar. Good refreshing drink for the nice weather today.

Although I have read many bubble tea rankings and reviews saying that Chatime is not of the utmost quality as Sharetea or Gong Cha, I actually really like Chatime and think they do well to provide delicious bubble teas. I ordered the premium pearl milk tea with 50% sugar and 50% ice. Not only did it taste like a nice cold milk tea but it still had enough sweetness and pearls to be classified as a bubble tea! Thank you for delivering as always :)

First time visiting Melbourne and absolutely needing Chatime to fill my day! The tea is surprisingly consistent with WA and the customer service is amazing, quick and friendly!
I’ll definitely be having my favourite Chatime across melbourne for the next few days!

Don’t visit within an hour of closing, or you’ll risk either choosing from a limited menu or no service at all. I stopped by at 8.00pm on a weeknight—an hour before close—and the employee informed me they had decided to close early due to a slow afternoon of business. Not a great first impression of the chain; I’ll definitely think twice about going out of my way to stop by again.

A consistently high standard of tea, no matter what flavor or combination is chosen. My workplace order from this store almost every Thursday, and despite the large amount of drinks ordered, they're always spot on and concocted with the utmost care. Keep up the excellent work!

Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. A bit inconsistent for me. The staff are always friendly and polite, but I find that they are seriously understaffed at times as there are only one or two people on deck. I've waited from 3 minutes to 20 minutes so it really depends. The tea is also inconsistent. Sometimes it tastes great and other times it tastes like watered down condensed milk which is pretty gross.

I am a regular here and I thoroughly enjoy my time and experience when I come to get drinks especially when being served by this kind gentleman who I think his name is Ronald(?)
Every time I come here he is always greeting me and serving me top quality tea while making me feel comfortable. Love your work!

The people working are polite but the drinks they make are a rip off. Their large drink of watered down tea is double the price than a cup of coffee. Yet, they don't see anything wrong in putting twice the ice requested in your drink as you watch. Didn't enjoy being cheated and the taste was bad too. Sorry I had to speak the truth here to move on.

alot of the time i find the staff to be a little disinterested in their job, compared to other chatimes ive been to, music has been on, people have been chatting, but on some occasions, this store the employees seam quite robotic meaning there isnt much customer interaction. i went there not too long ago with my grandma and the girl on reg asked us if we wanted 1/4 of the sugar as its quite sweet, which is kinda random its almost like downselling the product

Located in the heart of the Southgate food court. <br/>The staff are very friendly and will remember your order after a few visits. <br/>The waiting time is short but this doesn’t affect the overall taste. <br/><br/>In summer it’s a very refreshing option. <br/><br/>The usual order is Large Mango Milk - $7.25<br/><br/>Definitely something to try at least once!

Today ChaTime opened at Southgate, just across the river from the office and so we thought we'd check it out. Who could resist with a BOGOF fruit tea offer. I've never had their fruit teas before cause we just go to the T2 Bar on our side of the river. It was lunch time and the line was long but very quick! Much quicker than anywhere in the CBD (we once waited 40mins). I'm iffy on fruit teas as I'm damn sure there's nothing natural about them here.

Was served today by a lovely brown haired girl. She had fantastic customer service and was very polite, she made a great chatime for me and I really enjoyed the whole experience. A lot better customer service than I have received from a lot of the other chatimes around the city. I will be coming back to this one more often from now on.

Not the best bubble tea joints around but they will do fine when the craving hits, as was the case today. On top of that, I personally think that this branch is somewhat below par when compared to other Chatime.<br/><br/>The pearls were a bit tough and chewy, thus giving my jaw a good workout. The taro milk tea was quite bland and there were residue powder in the drink. Even with no sugar, I could taste the sweetness imparted by the pearls.<br/><br/>Usually I prefer Chatime's milk-based teas over their fruit teas, but this time around, I was more satisfied with the mango green tea with mango popping pearls. Not too sickly sweet, and quite refreshing. <br/><br/>Can't comment on service as I ordered through UberEats.

I was very thirsty before going on a boat cruise down the Yarra so I thought I’d get a nice bubble tea. Normally I enjoy the milk teas with custard but yesterday was hot so I decided to just get jasmine tea with coconut jelly. The tea was nice and strong but not too much so. I just had 30% sugar which was perfect for me and the coconut jelly added some sweetness. The lady working here was friendly enough and I’d come back if I was in the area and felt like bubble tea.
