We've eaten at Makotos a good bit over the years. Last night we went there after our daughters cheer competition and ended up with the best chef we've ever had. The food was great, but he interacted with the kids at the table, made jokes, lit things on fire, and just did an overall super job. I hate to write reviews for things you normally expect as normal, but he went above and beyond. Thank you for making our kids experience the best, it makes our more enjoyable as parents.

Always a treat to eat here. I have been eating here for celebrations, and special occasions for years. It's also great for a random Tuesday. The food is always on point, and the chef provides an awesome show. Don't forget to try all the sauces, most are available at stores nationwide. Pretty cool for a local restaurant.

This is a good restaurant, hubby and I went 2 weeks ago for the first time, based on that experience, I went back a 2nd time with my parents. First time, hubby and I were to late for the hibachi experience but loved our food and service. With the parents we got to experience the hibachi grill, however, I've been used to having a bit of a show when going to this style of restaurant and there was no show and very little personality from our chef. Steak was a bit tough but overall, enjoyable enough and we'll go back again.

The waitstaff was very attentive and the food was great. I came for one of my employees birthday and we were a party of 6. It took 20 min to be seated so I highly suggest calling ahead and making reservations it was a Tuesday night so did not expect to need to do so which is what resulted in the wait. Everyone in our group ordered different Hibachi meals. The meal comes with soup, salad, appetizers, side and main course. The food is extremely well priced for the quality. If you are in the area and a fan of Hibachi or Sushi I suggest you visit. Especially for special occasions.
