Rudy's Neapolitan Pizza

Rudy's Pizza was excellent. Even from the outside, I could tell that the place was vibrantly booming. When I arrived there, the host and waitress (Tamika) served me really well to help me start my experience (my first dining experience in England actually). Tamika gave me an excellent recommendations on pizzas and I could choose a great one out of them. As the kitchen was an open concept, I could see them passionately and joyfully working with one another. I could even see one worker working with the firey oven. The pizza was served pretty fast and the taste was extraordinary. I have never been to Napoli or Italy but I could notice right away that it was remarkably different. First, I loved the fact that the dough was so chewy and tasty. I could also tell that the ingredients were very fresh. I was recommended to dine here by my city tour guide and I do not regret my choice at all. I have already been recommending this place to my friends and I will definitely visit here again to try different pizzas. Mamma Mia.

Good thin based pizza. The dips are nice - had all three, garlic aioli nicest personally. Went at a very busy time on a Saturday and the tables are quite crowded, with not much space for bags. Also, most of our table got dessert while two of us got coffee - it was annoying how the desserts arrived first and we struggled to flag down any wait staff to chase the coffee, which eventually arrived after everyone had finished dessert which was irritating.

TLDR: Amazing pizza, reasonable prices - definitely recommend! Came here for a Valentine's Day lunch, expecting nothing but the best from a Neapolitan pizza place - and it delivered. Greeted by incredibly friendly staff, with Josh serving for us that day - huge shout-out to him. He made sure we were well attended to, despite it being incredibly busy. The entire establishment was an incredibly comforting atmosphere. We sat right in front of the pizza oven and the pizza-assembly area, an absolute delight to watch. The menu itself however did seem fairly confusing, but incredibly detailed. Thankfully, we were given enough time to actually find out exactly what everything meant. We both ordered Nocellara (Green) Olives as a starter, whilst I had the Carni pizza (with fresh chilli), and my girlfriend ordered the Calabrese pizza. All of the above were spectacular, with the pizza bursting with incredible flavour and cooked perfectly throughout. I can vouch for the Carni if you love a meaty pizza like I do, with chilli's if you like the spice. Whilst I thought the Calabrese was a bit boring, my girlfriend loved it. She would definitely recommend. It was a little busy, as to be expected for a Saturday lunchtime on Valentine's Day. This did contribute to a substantial wait between ordering and getting our pizza (and we were starving), hence the single star knocked off from the score. Easily could've been 5 stars otherwise, but sadly didn't meet that incredibly high bar. Whilst it may be slightly more expensive than other places (£26.60 in total), it was definitely worth it for the food and experience alone. It was incredibly filling, and we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. Will definitely come back here again! Amazing pizza, and reasonable prices - what's not to love.
