The Notting Gill Chippy

This Chip shop is the best ever. The food here is amazing and I was not expecting such great food and fantastic service. I ordered a donner Kebab with chips and a halloumi burger and chips. I say chips but they deserve more than being called just chips as they were a work of art. Golden brown on the outside and fluffy and light yellow on the inside. Taste like a buttery mash inner with a crispy roast outer coat with no oil residue. Full of flavour and so morish and comforting. The halloumi was so good with fresh flavoursome salad, we wanted to buy more and have it later. so good! This is more than just chips ...this is The Grove Fish Bar chips. Please try this place as it's amazing. I have travelled from Oxford to this place just to get the chips. Reminds me of when chip shops sold chips that were of great quality and when the owners really cared about what they served their customers. I hope this business runs forever and everyone gets a chance to taste the best chips in the world. You guys are amazing.

Decent chippy with fantastic quality, fresh fish. The batter was light and crisp and the service was great. Not a fan of chip prices separated for fish/pie/sausage meals (suppers) and there's a paltry selection of drinks (or with meal deals) yet otherwise the place was great. Sit in service is also the same as takeaway prices which is a nice bonus.

Fantastic place to eat with great customer service especially when your hungry and every where else is closed. It closes 12 midnight Mon - Sat. Great location next door to Labrooke Grove underground station in Hammersmith and City Line. The Grove Fish Bar has seating area to eat and you can order fish and chips, pies, burgers, kebab and much more.
