Love the friendly vibe of this pub. Decor is bizarre and really fun. Very unexpected find in kennington. I have the strong urge to become a regular. Love that you can order in takeaway food. Felt immediately welcome which is unusual when walking into any pub for the first time.

Bill is the best landlord of all the London pubs I have ever been to. When he starts to tell a story, you must sit back (with a drink in hand) and listen.

An amazing quirky place run by a local.
You'll see a constantly changing environment with art pieces and random toys placed all around. It's literally like having a pub in a friend's garden 😊

Absolutely great pub! The landlord is a total legend, he's super funny and takes great pleasure in pleasing his guests.
Choice of alcohol is also pretty good.

This is the kind of place I'm ambivalent about reviewing because the amazing charm an unique ambiance is based on not to many people finding it. It is a true gem and Bill the scotsman owner is a character where reality truly is better than fiction. Cheap drinks, an awesome and friendly crowd in a place that is the definition of quirky. When I look back at my years in London some time in the future I will lovingly remember having this place around the corner.

It’s a hidden gem for sure, was staying at a Hostel like 2 minutes away and was looking for a quick pint, and ended up staying for a few rounds! Absolutely brilliant place! Keep it up lads!
