A blissful soul enriching experience. I would call this a spa of food. Everything from food to ambiance to the great care that they took for us. It was amazing. We didn't feel like we were in London, we felt like we were in Africa.
The chef/owner came and met us and was so hospitable, something very very rare to find in North America.
I would go there everytime I am in London.

Our second visit to this restaurant was a delight! Our daughter raved about it, and now we understand why. The atmosphere, delicious food, and attentive service made it a fantastic experience. Plus, ending the meal with the aromatic coffee bean presentation was the perfect touch. Can't wait to return!

The second visit in two weeks, great food, but a good idea is to google how to eat Ethiopian 😀 the coffee is the best I've had in London.

Incredible experience! A random date night turned into a romantic evening and the tone was set during dinner.
The food was amazing! The server was patient and understanding as it was our first time.
I can not say enough good things about this place. Please, do yourself a favour and come eat here!

Tonight, I got to eat at a special restaurant. One that delivers all a restaurant could ever offer. Its name is TG’s Addis Ababa Restaurant.
The appetizer I always get is Chechebsa. It is the single best appetizer I have had in London, period. It’s made of flat bread, butter, berbere, beans, and honey. It all combines to a sweet, chewy, addictive taste.
My main was the Shuro Wott. In this dish, seasoned and powdered chickpeas are cooked in a mild sauce and Ethiopian spices. This is all served with injera bread and greens. Injera is a spongey flatbread that you use to pick up other ingredients and eat.
The prices are affordable. All the appetizers (including Chechebsa) cost less than $3.50, but most mains cost around $16.00.
Inside the restaurant, you get a sense of Ethiopia’s culture. Everywhere you look there are items like paintings, wood carvings, tea pots, and portraits of Ethiopians.
The owner and server always take care of me and even gave me extra food to take home, free of charge.
TG’s Addis Ababa Restaurant is a jewel in London’s culinary world. And they rightly deserve more business.

We’ve been looking for different taste experiences lately. Tonight we tried Ethiopian fare. What a great experience! Samson is a very gracious host. We began with a beautiful herbed tea. Dinner was served on platters, with a selection of eight different dishes. They were served with spongy pan bread. To eat, we tore pieces of bread and scooped up the food. Aside from the fun of eating in a new way, each dish was flavour packed. There was a rich variety of spices, all very nicely balanced. Lentils, a type of fermented cabbage salad similar to sauerkraut, collard greens, sweet mashed split peas, chicken, and lovely spicy beef were cooked in sauces that we soaked up in the fresh made bread. This was an amazing, filling meal. You really need to give this a try! Samson, thank you for the wonderful meal. We will be back!

Amazing food and amazing service! New to London and couldn't wait to try this highly rated Ethiopian and boy, it did not disappoint! The portions are very generous. My partner and I had the combination platters. The injera is so soft and yummy, and all the dishes are well spiced and tasty. The chef is also so sweet and friendly!! We will definitely be coming here regularly :)

Ethiopian food done right! We read the reviews and thank god we followed them in to have dinner here. I wish I could adequately describe Ethiopian cuisine, but I can tell you that our family styled dinner was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. We had the beef platter mixed with the combination platter #1. If you have never tried Ethiopian food, but are in to Indian, Middle Eastern, and/or Thai food, I think it would be in your best interest to try this with some friends or family. Service was great. Owner checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied and to answer questions. We will return here next time we travel to London Ontario!

Beautiful atmosphere. Kind and generous staff (brought me a sample app while I was waiting for another app they were making fresh). Food was outstanding. Great menu selection. All that food and spicy tea for only $26. Very satisfied. Chef came out to say hi.
If I had to find anything to critique would be the same instrumental was on loop. But this pales to the overall experience. Thank you!
