Man, let me tell ya ‘bout the World Buffet & Grill – it’s become my Sunday sanctuary. The vibe’s as chill as a ‘60s music festival, and the food, man, it’s like a flavor trip. The variety is wild, and everything’s cooked to perfection. If you dig spice and shrimp, this joint’s your cosmic destination. It’s not just a meal; it’s a culinary journey. New folks, trust me, you won’t regret hitching a ride to this gastronomic haven. Peace, love, and endless buffet joy, my friends.

I stopped in here for lunch while visiting Lansing last week and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, professionalism of the staff and the affordable price. It's a great value for money for above average (American style) Asian food. The decor is a little dated, but the place felt very clean and well cared for. This is my new favorite place to eat in Lansing. I'm looking forward to the next time I can eat there.

The way you order at the front desk creates a terrible welcome to the place. They have a great selection of food and are really the best lansing has to offer when it comes to buffet. I would be careful around the salad bar because they do not wash the lettuce well. All 3 times I have been, we have seen black dirt all over the lettuce. Doesn't bother me, but the wife won't eat it. The service was good the first 2 times but the second we had some dirty black haired kid, that was terrible.

World Buffet has become my favorite Chinese Buffet in Lansing. The food is always plentiful and fresh, and very tasty. The dessert bar is top notch. There are always several seafood dishes available, including crab, shrimp, salmon, mussels, clams, pollack, and crayfish. There is also a Sushi bar and a Mongolian BBQ included. The prices for the buffet are also the best in town. Carry out is available as well (by weight).

We went here instead of Asian Buffet in Okemos because they are closed on Mondays. Paying for our meal first was different but smart, considering the location. If you've never been before, it can be a bit confusing at first, especially if you're used to them seating you. It has Old Country Buffet vibes. They have a great variety of things to try, sushi, and the best Wasabi I've ever tasted. I would definitely go here again.

Has a casual atmosphere, not high class, but also not shady or unsafe. The food is average for a buffet, not the best ever but really good if you're hungry or feeding a lot of people. The hibachi is great, and the cooks are wonderful. Service is always very friendly and courteous, they always make sure your drinks are full and table cleared of dishes.

On more occasions than not the food is good. However, we don't go at lunch time because the food isn't switched out nearly as often and gets really dried out. On weekend nights the food is regularly switched out and is good. My favorite thing is the hibachi to make my own stir fry. The service is pretty decent as well. One thing I don't like is having to tip on a card before even sitting down for the meal. We always take cash so we can tip accordingly. I really wish they had different desserts because they aren't good.

I have been going to this establishment for years, but since the pandemic I haven’t had the chance to enjoy my favorite buffet since childhood. Today I got the chance to relive inthe delicious food I remembered from long ago. The place itself was very clean, the workers very attentive and friendly. Now for the best part, the food. There were so many varieties of food, all hot and fresh. My favorite would have to be the Honey Chicken and the peanut chicken. The spring rolls were another hot and fresh item. Needless to say I was beyond pleased with my experience, and will definitely be back!
