Ruby Sunshine

BEST BRUNCH IN KNOXVILLE! My partner and I discovered Ruby Sunshine on a recent week-long trip to Knoxville and were instantly hooked…we ended up eating there three times over seven days! The Fried Green Tomato Benedict is absolutely amazing, probably my favorite meal of our entire trip (and there are some excellent eateries in Knoxville so that is really saying something). On the sweet side, the French Toast Bites and Seasonal Beignets are awesome as well. The servers are fun and super helpful, ask for Princeton or “Tater Tot”…there’s a very cool manager from Chicago too but I didn’t get his name. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant…so, SO GOOD!

We were recommended to this restaurant by a few of our passengers flying into Knoxville. We were seated at Julie’s table and had a wonderful experience. Her energy was fun and she was extremely knowledgeable for special requests! We started with delicious Fried Green Tomato’s topped with a Bacon Jam! Then our meals showed…there was no talking, but lots of Mmmmmmmm!! Thanks for a great experience and Happy🎄Holidays

My food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a latte and a biscuit and gravy breakfast. For the price the serving was quite large. Our service was great. The staff was very friendly. It was quite busy and we did not wait long for a table. I will definitely be back with friends and family. I hope the restaurant sticks around!

First time trying this place out, Chris was our server. Absolutely great experience. The wait was about an hour but so well worth it. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and added the sweet heat chicken. My friend ordered the sweet heat chicken and French toast bites and the cinnamon swirl pancakes. I can’t recommend the sweet heat enough. Chris was extremely friendly and very informative about the menu and recommended us join the waitlist online next time. I definitely will be coming back in the next few weeks.

Was just walking by with my mom and dog and stumbled across this place. They have a lovely patio and were able to allow my dog to join us for a late brunch. They had a wonderful mimosa flight and probably the best French toast I’ve ever had in my life. Our server was kind and attentive and if I’m back in the area, will be returning

Slow service. Cold food. We went here on a Friday morning. The place seemed fully staffed so we expected to be in and out. We were seated at a cozy little booth by the bar that apparently made us invisible. It took at least ten minutes to get our drinks and even longer before we placed our order. By time our food got to us it was barely above room temp. I had to send my potatoes back and ask for hot potatoes. I rarely send food back. My sister's trifecta was also not hot like it was just made. It was hot like it'd been sitting. I will say I have been here before and received stellar service and great food but today was not that day. Disappointed.
