Heaven's Kitchen At The Squirrel Inn

Took my partner for a "lite-Bite" which ended up being a three course lunch lol. I started with the mussels and she had the chicken liver pate, totally delicious. Then for mains i had the Scampi and she had the Pasta Con Pollo - for dessert i had the apple and rhubard crumble, my partner has the sticky toffee pudding - both served with custard. To say the food was delicious really would be an understatement. Service was great, very pleasant and get friendly staff. Highly recommend the food at this place. 10/10.

My relatives from the Lake District stayed for 1 night, and I went to see them and have some dinner. there was 8 of us but the restaurant had plenty of space I don't have anything to say regarding the rooms. The restaurant is nice, clean, and tidy. The menu was good, I had liver and onions on Mash, very good 👍 service in the restaurant was very good. The only thing I can point out was that the toilets were very dirty. If I'm in Godalming, I will remember the squirrel Inn and may return

Ideal if you are on a drive to Portsmouth and fancy a pit-stop. Found staff really polite and helpful. Saw bar staff even book taxis for people who needed taxi to Godalming Station. Two nice real ales on and a selection of other ales and ciders in in the fridge. Didn't know this place was there, until I was taken there. I know that I'll stop off on the way home to Portsmouth in the future now though.

We stopped by the Squirrel Inn on our journey from London to Portsmouth to break up the trip a bit. It was very quiet when we were there, only another couple stopping for a coffee and a couple of staff on. The coffees were good, brought to our table outside. Service was great, though we didn't stay long and only had a coffee. The interior of the Inn was immaculate, floors had recently been mopped and overall it was very clean and tidy. Great spot to stop for a quick coffee. Would have been nice to stay a little longer.

Nice little spot just off A3 in Hurtmore. I understand venue has changed hands several times over last few years and not too many locals so having to compete with some decent alternatives along the A3 as stop off. Eg 'Stag' not much further down the road. But location is nice, well presented for eating in and out. There is decent grass hill play area for kids and accomodation looks cosy too. (But cant comment furthet as not seen inside) Food bit pricey but decent quality. Check out an entertainment evening with band and give the place some deserved support!
