Partick Duck Club

I was on the fence about removing a star but in the end I decided it was more accurate to give 4/5. We both had the 12 hour Barbary leg and shared a portion of fries. The food was absolutely delicious, the duck more or less fell off the bone and such a tasty sauce. The star removed was for two reasons a) the bathroom - it was a tad dark, a shelf was too close to the toilet itself (I banged my arm against it) and the sink has a tendency to splash because the water pressure is too high for the sink design b) there was a used, slightly fusty straw in between the seat cushions and there were some crumbs already there when we sat down.

What a treat! Great selection of food and drinks and a live buzzing atmosphere . be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. They have a a good non alcoholic drink menu and vegetarian options too. I really enjoyed the boneless chicken and my partner enjoyed the scottosh fry up, the duck fries are delightful too - just the right amount of salt for that extra flavour !

A few changes in the menu.. bold but great! Thankfully the duck fat truffle fries remain though, I wouldn't handle that change well. Venison burger was nice but a little messy, cheese n onions everywhere, not necessarily a bad thing. Enjoyed the fun of the deep fried carbonara too. Excellent place, lovely service, will continue to go far too often. Updated with our new dishes. Sensational again. Love it!

Came for an early dinner with partner and 2yo, instantly felt welcomed by young guy who greeted us, baby seat was already set up in booth as we gave them a heads up. Food was unreal couldn’t fault anything, Duck was fall off the bone and the burger was banging toddler even ate my salad. Service was slick and staff were on point Highly recommend.

Brilliant brunch location although choosing between the mouth watering menu options is quite hard. The duck hash with nduja was very tasty. The beef Benedict was a good choice too, recommend a hash brown on the side. Kids enjoyed their French toast with syrup and berries followed by a hot chocolate. Nice service.

I really loved going to this place! The ambiance of the restaurant is really cosy but fancy. I found the food really delicious. I got the hoisin duck bun (with no bun) but I definitely do recommend to get it with a bun. My friends and I shared their honey mustard fries and truffle mayo fries. Both are really delicious and I loved the sauces, the truffle mayo is my personal favourite. I’ll definitely come here again.

Second visit to Partick Duck Club, last time years ago and have to say the food this time was massively improved. The food was OK last time but this time I loved it! The starters were the highlight, cauliflower and chicken wings my two favourites. Service excellent, will definitely be back when I'm in Glasgow again! Ideal for a girls lunch!
