Sushi Metsuyan

Hands down. One of the best redteraunts in New York. Not only do they look pretty their food actually taste great too. Friendly staff, waiters , and manager. Was asked a few times if I enjoyed my food and if I would like my steak to be cooked more. Shows that they actually care if you enjoy their food and are not just trying to get rid of u.

Wow! Went with a bunch of friends for a surprise party and we were impressed! I was a little nervous because the reviews did not look great but they were wrong! Let's start with the service, Excellent! Our waitress was very nice, engaging and attentive. The appetizers were tasty and also were presented very nicely, we all especially enjoyed the El Bamba (avacado). All the mains were great and the sushi too. A couple guys got soup and said it was so filling they couldn't finish their mains. The meal was finished of with a nice chocolate souffle with strawberry ice cream (Yum)! Thank you Metsuyan Blue!!

I live in NYC where there are many restaurants to pick from but I find myself looking forward most to coming out to Kew Gardens to Sushi Metsuyan. The food is excellent, especially the chicken Teriyaki with mash potatoes from heaven. How do they make their potatoes so smooth and delicious and not too salty which is a problem I always seem to find. The décor is peaceful and serene with a huge beautiful fish tank which is a delight to look at. If that weren't enough the staff is terrific, ARA is a standout but all the wait people couldn't be nicer and Mike the manager is great at his job making sure everything is perfect.. Don't walk, run to this restaurant..It deserves more than than 5 stars.
