I got the salmon Vera Cruz, and it was to die for. The tequila sunrise was truly a work of art. I sampled a few of the leftovers and they were all great. In particular, I really enjoyed the cornmeal muffin. I felt that the food service and atmosphere were all first class. It is the sort of place where you not only eat, but you end up relaxing and chatting with others.

A reliable Mexican food chain, all about quality and budget-friendly options. While it may not offer gourmet cuisine, it's a go-to spot for satisfying meals that won't break the bank. What truly sets El Torito apart is its festive atmosphere, especially during happy hour and Taco Tuesday. It's the perfect place for a casual and fun night out. On this Tuesday's visit, we couldn't resist trying their flight of mini margaritas, featuring classic, mango, and blackberry flavors. It added a playful and lively twist to our meal, making it a memorable, fun night out.

Jose was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He recommended the perfect margarita to pair with our dishes and ensured our glasses were never empty. What stood out the most was his genuine passion for the cuisine and his dedication to making our dining experience memorable. The night concluded with a delectable dessert and we left El Torito with full stomachs and satisfied taste buds. El Torito in Cypress, CA, left an unforgettable impression on our Los Alamitos, Cypress & Seal Beach Rotary Club during our recent gathering. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional service that set the tone for a fantastic evening. Our large group (23 members and guests) was comfortably accommodated in a designated area, where we were promptly served with refreshing drinks and a delightful assortment of chips and salsa. The attention to detail and the seamless organization were truly remarkable. We were further impressed by the efficiency with which our food orders were prepared and served. Despite the size of our group, the dishes arrived promptly and were cooked to perfection, reflecting the kitchen's dedication to quality. The standout feature of our experience, however, was the level of service we received. The wait staff's genuine warmth and attentiveness created an atmosphere of hospitality that made us feel like honored guests. Their efforts undoubtedly contributed to making our evening truly special. Our Rotary Club wholeheartedly extends its gratitude to El Torito in Cypress for exceeding our expectations. As an ex-El Torito employee, I was disappointed in the dining ambiance and the uniforms. It is more like a hotel dining experience than the colorful outfits and dresses that were worn when I worked for the company in 1982. The flavors were the same, and it was clean. My waitress was attentive and cheerful. The bar was busy and very upbeat. The bathrooms could have been cleaner and a little more maintained, but overall, it was a nice dining experience.

And I was only working at this El TORITO installing and/or Troubleshooting their DIRECTV equipment. All the Employees were Super Friendly and so many People go here for Sunday Buffet. They were generous enough and Feed me whatever I wanted on the Menu when I was Done,...So I had a Wet Steak BURRITO😋🌯THANKS EL TORITO

My first time in this restaurant,i was testing a lunch buffet 😋..Very nice variety of meat,hand made tortillas, salads, deserts..You can't really beat this price,great deal! The only thing i didn't like so much,is that they are actually making you a plate,as you don't have a direct access to the food and serving station..I prefer to make my own plate,but it doesn't really matter,absolutely not a deal breaker..Staff amazing and very kind! I had a great lunch,and will be back for sure 😀..
