The Oak Tree Pub & Grill

We had our father’s wake at this pub for the afternoon. Callum and Victoria helped us from start to finish. Everything we asked for was never a problem. They were very welcoming and looked after us all very well.Darren and Lee helped out all afternoon. The buffet was excellent, the hot food was hot and the quality of the food was so good. Thank you to your wonderful team for making this very special. This is now very much our local.

Never been before until today, but will 100% be back, Stumbled upon this place by complete accident after being turned away elsewhere on a busy Friday evening. Staff were very accommodating and fitted our table for 2 in with no fuss. Service was absolutely faultless, was served by 3 girls Emma, Kia and Alannah and they were incredible, service was fast and great to see service with a smile for a change even in a very busy environment. And as for the food that was just as amazing as the service so hats off to the chef’s, had a ribeye steak cooked medium rare or shall I say cooked to perfection and the peppercorn sauce was one of the best I’ve had, the pancakes for dessert were amazing too. Pricing is reasonable and the pub itself is lovely and very clean. But honestly overall just cannot beat the staff there absolutely 10/10 Cannot wait to come back 😀

Had a meal here today, the service was lovely from the moment we walked in, all of the staff were attentive and smiley & very easy to talk to! (Victoria gave us a good laugh) The food arrived quickly (starters and mains!) and was SO GOOD we didn't want to leave a bite, I never really leave reviews but I highly recommend giving here a go

Really excellent gluten-free fish and chips. The menu has a full allergen matrix for people with various food sensitivities, which is great. Kid-friendly, but also a pleasant place for grown-ups to sit and relax after hours traipsing round the (amazing) zoo. Lots of interesting nature photos / drawings / prints hung everywhere, even in the toilet cubicles! Light and airy interior, especially in the extension at the back. Getting our order taken was a little slow, but that was hardly the servers' fault as they were covering a lot of tables. Food arrived quickly and piping hot after ordering. Overall, strongly recommend.

We have visited twice now and it certainly won't be the last. The prices are very reasonable, with bargains to be had!! Especially considering the quality of the food. The pub is in a very quiet section just off of the hospital, so the surroundings are actually lovely. With the building being very warm and welcoming. If you go for lunch, the deals are fantastic!! But Saturday we went for dinner with the family after a day at Cheshire oaks. Our server (Lee) went above and beyond, really took the time to chat to us, joke with us, help us and it was very refreshing to see! He let my daughter interact and ordered her own food, which she loved and even showed her to the small children's area, which we weren't aware of the first time we visited. The food both times we came has been well cooked, fresh and just absolutely delicious!! We are already excited to visit again 😊

Nice food. A little disappointed I ordered a steak burger but didn't get the choice of how rare I wanted it. The burger was juicy but was well done. The side order was a little expensive for the size. Electric car chargers were charge point and also not the cheapest but overall I was happy. The customer service and atmosphere was the highlight of the visit.
