Would of liked to been married at Mangerton Mill one of my most favourite places over the years

Lovely place to visit. The mill is interesting to look around and a walk round the lake is a must.
We enjoyed a scone and coffe at the tea rooms sat outside on a lovely sunny day. The menu was large and varied with lots of lovely home cooked food to choose from. The craft shop is also well worth a visit with lots of lovely gifts to look at.

Great little hidden gem! We started our visit in the cosy little cafe, lots of choice and very nice food. A light rain shower then directed us into the very interesting museum, lots to see! including the wheel from the inside (apart from seeing the wheel, awkward steps are involved) then we emerged to the sun making an appearance onto the lovely lake, lots of benches, ducks and a little walk down to the sluice gates which is a very pretty little spot.
Before we left we visited the gift/craft shop which was full of very reasonably priced items and plants for sale too.
A very enjoyable morning of exploring and will definately be returning 😊
There was also an Art gallery but not sure on the opening days as closed on the Saturday we visited.

Great visit to mangerton mill museum and cafe, lovely atmosphere, remember to book a table for your meal as it can get very busy.

Great walk out from Bridport, pretty wild but flat and then the reward of a delish cream tea!

Mangerton Mill Museum is a quirky eclectic mix of vintage emphemera, tools and household items displayed on all three floors of the old mill. If you are a photographer it is a great opportunity to snap some interesting photos. The floors are accessed by steep mill ladder/staircase so not available to those with mobility issues. Entrance fee is a donation on trust. I love this place. Lots of craft shops, a tea room and a nice pond with benches around it. A fantastic location and a nice afternoon out.

Lovely morning spent here. Very quiet peaceful place. Restaurant staff were warm and welcoming and we had a good look through the mill's museums history as well as the crafts.
