Small restaurant with very simple ambience in karama famous for mangalorian food. Had ordered from here some days back. Had ordered for mutton pullimunchi, marwai sukka neer dosa and kori rotti. Food was very good but abit spicy for my taste thou. Recommended if you love authentic Mangalorian cuisine.

Didn’t read the reviews before ordering. Terrible food and I agree with many that the food was stale and felt the meat was not fresh. Butter chicken was one of the worst. Pompfret was also terrible. Felt that masala was dabbed on the fish. Veg starter platter was yuck!

A small place that’s great value for money. They make the best prawn Sukka, fish puli munchi, fish fry’s that you can relish with hot and soft Neer dosas. Fish kebabs and tikkas are served fresh and just delicious. If you like Mangalorean food or want to try go for it. The staff is very friendly and Sagar greets us with smile and knows what we like to eat.

This was a very welcome late dinner after a long time. Packaging was okayish but the food quality was truly superb. The tandoori charcoal pomfret was just mindblowing. Excellent in quality, freshness, and done just well and good sized. At 26 dhs, it was money well spent. <br/>Aloo gobi was also very nice at 17 dhs. I didn't try the pickles and mint sauce. The gobi and aloo balance was perfectly done. <br/>I had it with a butter naan. All the items to my taste. I highly recommend this place.

The worst food I have ever had. The paneer was smelling. The rice was stale and raw. The roti had been cooked 2 or 3 days back and heated and given. The chutney was smelling really bad.. absolutely no hygiene. If u want to fall sick you should order from this restaurant. I wanted a refund and the staff was being rude. Ordered hone delivery lady fish manglorean curry, clams sukka, neer dosa, Sole fish rava fry and schezwan chicken lollipop pop.<br/>All their coastal dishes are very nice and tasty, though sole fish dint have much masala but thick cover of rava, they can do better. Fish curry was very good, even the clams sukka.👌<br/>Wouldn't suggest schezwan chicken lollipop, it was salty and the taste was not great. Hope they do some modification. All the best👍

Ordered manglorian fish combo. The taste and quantity didn’t meet the authenticity. The fish served in curry and fry were small sardines which in my opinion is very cheap compared to the price of thali. Not worth it! Hope the restaurant hears me out on this and try to improve on it.

If you are looking for authentic Mangalorean food with no fancy frill attached, this is the place to order from.<br/>Have ordered from here multiple times but always stuck on to their chicken & crab dishes. This time around opted for Neer Dosa & Prawn Ghee roast from our usual Chicken pulimunchi.<br/> The prawn ghee roast was priced at AED 28. The quantity was very less or I can put it as the dish can serve only 1 person. The restaurant was offering discount online so this came to around AED 23.<br/>Neer dosa as usual light & delicate.

This is one of the worst restaurants to order from. The delivery time is horrible and pathetic. Yesterday i have had the worst time. My order was supposed to come at 10:40pm. I waited till 11pm and tried to contact customer service no response. I call the restaurant and they said in 10min ill get the delivery. Post which i called the restaurant and the delivery guy 10times. They only kept telling lies that food ill reach in 5min blaa.blaa blaa. The delivery guy didn't not pick my calls. He got my food at 12am and i sent him back. He did not even turn back or apologised for such bad service and delay. At 12am i couldn't order food from anywhere else and slept hungry and upset. This zomato customer service these days is pathetic and all they can do is say we are sorry, we ill serve u better next😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡. Horrible restaurant even horrible staff.

I have found this gem in Karama. I ordered their Dal Tadka and its to die for, literally! I had ordered this for lunch along with Chicken Masala fry which was average. Since i was craving for the Dal, i ordered it again for dinner and this time as an accompaniment i ordered the Mutton dry and Tawa chapatti. The chapatis are very nice and are consistent however, the mutton was very disappointing!! The pieces were full of fat and the mutton was chewy. Im not complaining, the food is cheap and tasty, however they lack consistency in the quality of the meat...please chose choose your meats well...dont compromise price for quality. I would have given it a 5 star but have deducted 3 stars for the quality of the Mutton.

Zomato keep on promising order will be delivered in 10-12 mins (standard response) but food never comes. Finally I cancelled order. A long due review about this hidden gem in dubai. Do you love seafood.. then this is the place... with delicious Mangalore cuisine. My personal favorite is the crab ghee roast.. a mixture of the soft crab meat and spicy masala.. the other versions of egg, squid and prawn ghee roast are also yumm... a big fan of their prawn curry combined with rice or kori roti. Wish they served thali's on weekend too. Can't wait to visit again

One of the best restaurants serving South Indian as well as North Indian food located in Karama is Venus Restaurant. Quality of Dosa, Uttapam etc ordered was good, rates are just OK. Restrooms need better cleanliness. No COVID protocols been seen in use.

Good place for chat items. I'm addicted to their pani puris and dahi puris. It's little crowdy all the time. But it'll be worth the wait. They have all south indian foods with good taste and moderate price. The customer service is good.

Very decent, clean, hygienic restaurant. Specializes in regular South Indian Food. South Indian Thali is good if you're super hungry. Kid friendly staff. All food is freshly prepared and served.

They had a 20% discount and I paid AED 76 for the below:<br/>- Boiled Rice (1 and half portion)<br/>- Mackerel Curry<br/>- Solefish Tava Fry<br/>- Sherry Masala<br/>- Methi Mattar Palak<br/>- Papad (4 pcs)<br/>And this came along with some pickle and salad.<br/><br/>The food was good enough for 3 people for the price. However wasn't particularly impressed with the taste. The mackerel curry was good. Both the fishes though lacked taste, and did not complement the meal well.

A must visit for Mangalorean food lovers. Located in karama, its bit difficult to find if not aware about the roads here. We usually go to this restaurant to have chicken sukka, marwai sukka, mutton pulimuchi and neer dosa. All the dishes are reasonably priced, service is quick.

The ghee roast was pathetic and had a burnt taste..they shudnt try to make something if they aren’t gud at it coz being a mlorean this is no where near to what it actually shud taste like!!
