Not a good deal for me. My friends drag me to this place for tasting Mandi. I m big fan of Mandi. Without checking reviews stepped to Taste Mandi & Madhbi Restaurant. Normally I m not a experimenting person for Mandi. This place is normal Mandi restaurant with proper indoor seating. We tried both Mandi and Madhbi. In Madhbi chicken was grilled not like baked as mandi. <br/>They serves extra rice for the portion. Limited ambience is the drawback and price is the advantage. Rice came with little masala mixed. Likeable for indians

Great taste and most affordable price of madbhi. However chicken is too dry and the cashier is rude and very unprofessional. In addition, if you call them for delivery they will ask you your area and how many is your order. Then after you tell them your order they will tell you that they are not delivering or their driver is off. How could they ask the my order and how many if they dont deliver or their drover is off?? Another thing, if you went there for take away the casheir will chat first to his colleague before he will take your order. Living you waiting and staring at him. They doesnt care about customer. Whats worst? One time I went there and while waiting for my order the casheir and his friends are chatting and laughing then suddenly he fart. Then they just laugh like there is no customer in front of them. So disgusting and annoying.

I visited Taste Mandi & Madhbi yesterday for lunch. It is located near Union Metro Station. I ordered 1/4 Chicken Mandi which is sufficient for 1 person is priced at AED 12. The taste is good and Mandi is also properly cooked. Mandi comes with Shorba , Salad.<br/>Taste 3.5/5<br/>Ambience 3/5<br/>Value for money 3.5/5

I really wonder why this restaurant is rated so low. I have always had a home delivery and havnt been to the restaurant so i can not say any thing about the way the waiters treat you and how is the over all staff service. But one thing i guarantee is that it being a non Arabic restaurant has perhaps one of the best Mandi and Madhbi that iv had so far. And the price is just unbeatable. i mean 12 DHS for a quarter chicken madhbi and 11 DHS for a quarter chicken Mandi is just insane pricing with such a good quality food. Their Salad is proper their Soup is as it should be their chilly sauce is great. Yemini or other arabic restaurants would charge a bit more for the same taste and for the same quantity of food. The only cons are that delivery might take some time and they deliver minimum of 25 DHS order only. Which is ok not that much of a big deal. But putting services and other things aside as iv not experienced that if you only consider great and perhaps one of the best cheapest Mandis or madhbis this is the right place. The call attenders who take orders talk to you quite nicely if not the best. So a rating of 4.5 for the food and 0.5 is ambiguous depending on the walk in experience which i dint had so far. Highly recommended. i love it. Its a proper Mandi Madhbi. The chicken has the rice aroma and the rice have the chicken aroma which is the main element of the these dishes.<br/><br/>Edited (21/7/2017) : The home delivery experience is just crap. One bad fish spoils the whole pond. And this what I experienced with the delivery guys. They do not come in my office and want me to come out of my office and take my order and pay them. I mean it would latterly take 30 secs for them to hand me over the order and take the money and get the hell out of there but no. They will waste 5 mins until you come down and receive your order. extremely Illiterate  delivery guys seem like non trained. They think they don't get noticed outside their restaurant but they don't know that they are under the eye of the worlds biggest critic when it comes to food. I will be reporting this. edited the 4.5 rating to 2.5 only because of the stupid home delivery experience with this stupid delivery guy.<br/>No doubt the food is excellent but the delivery guys manners and education is Zero here. The call attenders are good and take your orders actively its just that the lazy delivery guys should work appropriately for what they are paid for. Being manner full is absolutely free. If they cant work they are welcome to go somewhere they work and yet do not work and where people are ok with their attitudes. with me no attitude will work. I haven't dined in any time but had taken away and the Biryani that they serve is really delicious .. the rice is really Amazingly done >> My whole Family jst loves the birayanis in der .. we hav tried the Chicken(over cooked chicken and rice ) n Fish(whole fish and rice , u can also only get the flesh if u want) n both are Amazing .. wnt 2 give beef a try also

"Simple" is the word fellas. They do not have an over crowded menu and waste your time trying to decide what to order. Its simple chicken done in two different ways (Mandi and Madhbi) and Khabsa rice. At 11 AED for a 1/4 chicken, Rice and Tomato paste its a bargain and the portion is so big I do not know why anyone would even order the 1/2 chicken. They mislead people by false advertising though. As per the ad in front it says they also serve a soup for the combo. Well they did when they started but have discontinued it. Someone needs to give them 3M contact details to come and change the banner. Not very clean. Not friendly staff. Have been eating there for about a year and still alive the last time I checked. At 11 AED a pop what more do you expect.

Came across this restaurant, because of the attractive offer of Chicken Mandi for only 12 bucks, but later came to know that it's just a quarter piece of Chicken. Located near the Union Metro Station, the restaurant is small, and doesnt look quite attractive. Ordered a half Chicken Mandi, which costed about 17 bucks. It was served immediately, as it was already prepared in advance to meet the demands during Iftar. The Chicken Mandi comes with a sauce which was very spicy, but really bad in taste. They also had soup, which was not good either and tasteless. The salad was also served, which was equally bad as the other items. The only good thing was the Chicken, tasted good, and was well cooked. The rice was okay. Wouldn't recommend this place at all.
